It’s well know that the one who says “I am humble” is not in fact humble. I wonder if the one who says “I am strong” is not in fact strong? Are attributes such as “humble” and “strong” and many others not descriptions of self-seflective observation, but rather descriptions of other people rendering the first person singular “I am strong” “I am humble” of doubtful use. Come to think of it are the phrases “You are strong” or “You are humble” of much use? Most useful perhaps is “He/she is strong” and “He/she is humble” ?
