Lori, I don’t understand this concept. Could you (or anyone) explain to me your interpretation on it?

I think this means to think to broaden our perspective beyond just what we’re feeling now, so we consider how our actions will affect us in the future–and also what we may think and feel in the future. That’s my take on it!
