Ok after learning that an old lover but friends for years is just playing games I’m letting him go. It’s going to hurt me to do it because we have been friends for 30 yrs. We’ve been in contact again since 2009 since then always communicated back and forth.Even now more than ever. I don’t converse with any sex partner like that because we’ve been friends so long we talk about everything. When he saw that I was in the E.R one time on social media he called see how I was doing.

I would be lying if I said I didn’t care about him because with all that time built up I do. I will have to stop contact with him.I told him I don’t even want it now because he plays games with me. Well , this morning he text me I do want it baby. I can’t even say anything.

    Hi Lisa,

You’ve written a few times now. Some men like to play games. It’s a power/control thing because they don’t have power and control over their own lives.

What I’ve done is just left weird texts  hanging. Then the next (several) times they text they see what an idiot they sound like. I don’t answer the phone. If I do it’s like a year later and I end the call before it gets weird.

    Good Luck,

    Inky

Yeah, I agree that you should let him go and I think it’d be a very good thing for you to do. I remember all of the posts you’ve made and it just sounds like he’s toying with you and taking advantage of you sometimes and don’t you deserve better than that?  I’d definitely just write him off as toxic and cut contact.
