This is so many levels of beautiful and inspiring! Tim Harris has Down Syndrome, but that didn’t stop him from opening his own restaurant, Tim’s Place, which serves breakfast, lunch, and hugs.
Everyone who enters his Albuquerque establishment gets a big serving of his joy and love before they even take a look at the menu. Though the food may be delicious, I have a feeling this is what keeps them coming back: Tim’ infectious passion, gratitude, and kindness.

This is so awesome! I love it! I work as a waitress in a restaurant and sometimes it gets to be quite stressful and there are always a few rude people that get you down. But many people are kind as well, and this video is a great reminder of why it’s so important to have a positive attitude. When you’re positive and kind, it helps others to be, too. We can all make a change in our everyday life simply by being more kind and caring towards others. Great video, and very inspiring and sweet.
Indeed we can! Kindness is contagious. =)
It’s now a goal of mine to visit this area and stop by Tim’s restaurant. Looks like it would be well worth the trip!
This is a wonderful reminder of we are ‘one big community’ and our little contributions do make differences to other people’s lives. Tim is putting smiles on many people’s faces. Certainly he did to me! I love his positive and warm attitude. That is contagious!
He did for me, as well! And you’re absolutely right. Every contribution counts. =)
