Eighty-eight-year-old Johnny Barnes spends six hours every day telling people on the side of the road “I love you!” and “Have a great day!” Rain or shine, he makes it his mission to share joy and kindness with everyone who passes.
Following Johnny’s lead: Happy Monday, I love you, and have a great day! Now go and pass it on. 🙂

I love love LOVE this. I wish there were people like this in every single town, we need more happiness in the world, ESPECIALLY out on the road.
I don’t know if you recall, but this reminds me so much of the Happy Lady in St. Louis a few years back
I agree! Maybe there should be a volunteer organization dedicated solely to spreading cheer on the side of the road. Happiness spread can go far…sometimes even further than dollars.
This is nice.
