Hi Anita!
I’ve been seeing your name very often and I got curious, and it led me to this thread. I’ve enjoyed reading your responses to some members here. Very insightful and tactful. Hope to gain some insights from you too.
I found tiny buddha via Instagram and started following on FB and here. I’m in a place in my life where I’m figuring out spirituality, sharpening my intuitive abilities, and trying to either maintain, grow or escape the corporate life. It’s undecided. I’m figuring it out. Somehow spirituality calls rather often, so I’m done resisting for now. Let’s just see where it takes me and how much I can learn. It’s been an interesting journey so far.
Looking forward to getting further acquainted with you!

July 21, 2018 at 11:48 am #218027PrashParticipantHi Anita, I have also been curious about finding your name so frequently. I am relatively new here. I have been reading articles on tiny buddha for a while now in my search for a meaning to life. I believe in helping everyone and hoping to see a smile on everyone. The “real” world somehow seems to be putting a veil on everyone. And I turn to this forum to come closer to true feelings.

You see my name so frequently because I post so frequently. You put it nicely: “The ‘real’ world somehow seems to be putting a veil on everyone”. Perhaps you can share more, here or elsewhere, about the process of you “com(ing) closer to true feelings”.

July 22, 2018 at 6:58 am #218101SheelanagigParticipantThank you for the intro. I chose my name sheelanagig. sheelanagig are ancient statues found in Europe that are thought to use explicit representations of women’s sexuality as amulets of protection. I am here because I look stuff up in the computer regarding relationships and self live and my attention gets brought to Tiny Buddha over and over.

I was wondering about your username. Now I know. Welcome to the Forums. Glad you are here and looking forward to read more from you.

January 19, 2019 at 1:30 pm #275675AnonymousGuestDear Derek:
I am a member here, not an administrator. I don’t think private messaging is an option that is available here. Personally, I am not interested in that and prefer communicating publicly here, so every post can indeed be read by all.

January 22, 2019 at 7:24 pm #276319SamanthaParticipantHello! I am new here too but have read Tiny Buddha articles throughout the past. I live in a big city and have lived in a new city every year for the past three years. I have decided to take time for myself to heal and find a place where I can give and receive love, make a home for myself and whomever I share it with, and be back in a more natural setting by the sea. It has been a very tough few years and couple decades in fact. I know I bounce from city to city and my coping mechanism tends to be leaving and starting a new life somewhere, and that you can do internal work anywhere at any time and I don’t need to leave the country to do that. However, I deeply believe and feel that part of me is already in this new place. This time I’m not leaving the city out of fear or with the unreasonable belief that leaving will fix everything including myself. I just want to be in this new place and I believe it already holds love and health for me. In the city everyone- even my dear friends- are chasing careers and success. I am not. I want love and sanity and health, and to be surrounded by like minded people. What do you think? Much love, Moi!
January 22, 2019 at 8:02 pm #276327MoniqueParticipantGood evening Anita,
My name is Monique, and while I’m new to Tiny Buddha officially, I’ve followed this website since I was about 16 (I’m 27 now) through an old friend of mine. I came to a crossroads in my life where I’ve realized that I need to become a better, more healthy, wholesome, and positive person because I have let my past traumas and experiences deter my current relationship and friendships. Through this realization was where I came back to Tiny Buddha in order to try and promote my own well-being. My goal is to try and learn self-love and care so as to foster healthier relationships, and hopefully try to fix the one I am also currently in.
I have seen your name float around on the forums quite frequently as I’ve been scouring them for hours tonight now and hope to gain some insight from you in the near future. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity for introducing myself and spending the time that you do to reply to topics you believe you can have a positive impact on.

Welcome to the Forums.
You stated: “I need to become a better, more healthy, wholesome, and positive person.. to try to promote my own well-being. My goal is to try and learn self-love and care so to foster heathier relationships, and hopefully try to fix the one I am also currently in”-
A very well stated mission statement. I hope this does happen for you here, that your goals will be met here and elsewhere. I will read and reply to the thread you started next.

The wonderful advice and heartfelt understanding you give to so many others is an example of the human spirit at it’s best. I am sure there are many times that you are tired, or perhaps overwhelmed at the myriad of problems that we, as flawed humans present. But, you are always there, along with other wise people who offer their counsel and support. Thank you for your sage advice, your deep understanding of past wounds, and your ability to bring these wounds to the surface to assist healing. The world is better for a beautiful heart, and there is no doubt that yours is one of them. Greetings from Australia. xx
