ParticipantHi Peter: Yes, I agree.
The illusion isn’t the pain or the body. The illusion is the story of separation—the belief that “I” am alone, or that pain means something is wrong with me.
Healing means meeting the pain without shame, without blame, and with presence.
Healing happens only after safety and care. Then one might gently explore the illusion of “I”—not to erase the wound, but to loosen the grip of identity around it.
“You are not only this. It says, When you are ready, there is more.”- yes, more, Peter.
More.

ParticipantPeter,
Thank you for your insight. And agree with your comprehension of the Dharma.
Anita,
I do value your judgement in these matters. However, I did not think I was being confrontational. Personally, I thought I was asking for him to understand TinyBuddha is a different kind of place. A place for venting and a place for healing. Words about death of ego and death of I really have no place where people need to recover their sense of self and value. But, I will take your advice. Best that I probably do not post much anymore. My opinions sometimes take a life of their own.
Alessa,
During your meditation, do you find times of quiet? When the noise of the mind has stopped. No more narration. Just peace? That is the mind of the enlightened.

ParticipantHi Thomas
Thanks for the kind words. It’s true you write candidly and with directness. I personally find it refreshing and would hate to lose your voice.

ParticipantIt is not there is no you.
It is “body and universe arises and falls within You. Body arises and falls, or universe, but You are always what You are. Therefore, there is pain in body yet no one is suffering.
Truth hurts ego. That’s why I say it. Actually, not to You, but to ego, which claims to be You.
That’s all.

ParticipantHi Tommy
I am open to any kind of learning. Why? Mmm when I practice I do. But it is like a muscle and I don’t always practice regularly now that I have a child. I wouldn’t claim to be enlightened. I just had a good meditation teacher. 😊
I did learn to do some things I do in meditation outside of meditation though. ❤️
Please don’t worry. You are very much welcome here. ❤️
As a fellow honest person. I appreciate you. 😉

ParticipantJames123,
I would like to say that I am sorry to hear you had surgery. Pacemaker? It is a tough situation to be contemplating one’s mortality. I hope you and your son will be better in the near future.

ParticipantJames said, [quote quote=450589]
İt never comes from effort or action. Because, your entire life based on action and effort. Therefore, the absolute is effortlessness.i had an open heart surgery, right now having a mechanical valve and pacemaker (therefore lost my entire modelling career) and my son diagnosed with tycacardia. So, Life and body have it’s own will. Realization of Truth came with lots of suffering.
Life and body will never go the way that you expected. And if you try to control, your entire life will be in hell and suffering. So, you decide.
Stay with peace.

Well, all that stuff isn’t as important as your health. Please take care of yourself and your son. Good health is more valuable than Gold.October 10, 2025 at 10:25 am #450772James123
ParticipantDear Thomas,
Thank you very much for your wishful words. I really do appreciate.
I would like to add one more thing, believe me, the biggest health problem is stress, including that “I am eating healthy, running and taking care of myself”. Even this, is so much stress on body.
When body is own, it is free of stress.
October 10, 2025 at 10:55 am #450773Thomas168
ParticipantI believe that meditation helps to reduce stress. Legend Bodhidharma spent 9 years meditating in a cave. So, even the enlightened ones need to just sit for a time. And of course stuff happens to the body that we have no control over which can induce stress. Just got to remain calm and stay in the present. As the inscription on the ring of the great king says, This too will pass. Just a reminder that all things do change.

ParticipantThe cave is our life. Going to “cave” and staying alone is just running away. Therefore, prophets are the legend of surrendering, including in any situations, not only being alone or being in cave.
As i said before, death of body will come, yet James is gone. He couldn’t handle to control, all was too much for him.
All to people in forum of Tiny Buddha:
Life is suffering. Buddha.
Best Regards,

ParticipantDear James:
“All to people in forum of Tiny Buddha: Life is suffering. Buddha.”-
There are moments of joy, James, of hope.. of true connection with others. Connection is what joy is about, says this one human (me).

ParticipantDear Anita,
Please don’t get me wrong, my all sayings are not forcing or imposing. They are just recommendations.
A moment of joy or hope is too small in entire life. You can just put aside and see the total moment of joy and put another side that controlling, fear, sadness, worries etc… Even multimillionaires, they have the biggest fear, losing or trying to manage their status.
One side, giving everything back to God and being free or another side claiming that there is me, and i am in charge.
And from that you decide.

ParticipantDear James:
No.. I don’t want to get you wrong. A moment of joy in an entire life is indeed not enough. But in connection, in true, sincere connection between two people.. there’s magic in it. Can you and I, two individuals maybe far, far away in real-life.. Can we connect more? There might be joy in it. Connecting with each other=> connecting with, within ourselves..?
Nothing weird. Something real..?
