I have taken risk always that’s why I’m in this condition. Now I’m not upto it. I wanted to know if my parents were wrong. I got my answer. But doing something about it, it’s too late.

I should have struggled against my parents when I was studying and when I was working. If I actually have some illness who will pay for it? I have no job.

    Dear  Mina:

Your thinking is clear and rational: you weighed the pros and cons to staying with your parents vs living in a group home, and you concluded that it is safer and wiser for you to stay with your parents. You are not interested in taking the risks involved in leaving your parents’ home at this time in your life.

If I actually have some illness who will pay for it? I have no job“- in the U.S. and in many other countries there are government assistance programs, including free of charge health care, and monthly income to people deemed disabled. These programs make it possible for disabled people who wish to live independently of their parents, to be able to do so. I am guessing that such programs do not exist in the country where you are living…?

    Dear Mina:

Good to read back from you! I am fine, thank you. I suggested earlier that you watch or listen to mindfulness meditations videos or audios (your choice), which are available online free of charge. I suggest that you watch/listen to one every morning and every evening, before going to sleep. In addition, I suggest that you plan nutritional, lower calorie meals and daily physical exercise so to safely lose weight and get in a good physical shape.

Anita, my brother marriage is fixed. Now my parents will treat me badly in front of that new girl.

I understood, my parents didn’t want to give any property to me because I’m a girl that’s why they have behaved like this with me. So that they can call me mad and helpless. Can I do anything about this?

    Dear Mina:

I am sorry that you are going through all this mistreatment. What you described in your recent posts is being discriminated against on the basis of gender and age. You asked if there is anything you can do about it: the only thing I can think of is seeing an attorney for the discrimination you are facing. (Earlier, I suggested that you find a way to move out of your parents’ home (to a supervised group home perhaps), but you said that you are safer at home with your parents).

Is it a good idea to marry again?

    Dear Mina:

I figure that it would be a good idea for you to marry again only if it is to a man who will be able and willing to give you access and opportunity for quality professional help, including psychotherapy. He will need to get to know you, and you getting to know him, before getting married. Another arranged marriage by your parents to a man you don’t know and who doesn’t know you- is a bad idea.
