My father told my psychiatrist that I’m jealous that my brother is getting married.
January 17, 2023 at 6:40 am #413946MinaParticipantI dont want to forgive my parents. They mislead me and are still misleading me. I request them to help me but they have bribed my doctors too. I don’t feel like living in this hopeless situation. I don’t know what I should do to make myself better. My mom teases me and provokes me. I’m broken.
January 17, 2023 at 7:02 am #413964AnonymousGuestDear Mina:
You started 4 threads in the span of a minute. In your thread “Cheated” you shared that after many years, you realized that your school friend is not really your friend, that when you said this to your parents, they abused you, that your counselors says that you lack life skills, and that you feel “scared and lonely and helpless…. terrified”. In your thread “Worse Life”, you shared that you are fed up with how your mother is treating you. In “Bad parents”, you shared that your father told your psychiatrist that you are jealous of your brother getting married, that your mother teases and provokes you, that your parents bribed your doctors and are misleading you, and that you are broken. In your thread “Unfair”, you shared: “My mom who abused me is enjoying her life, and I’m left to take medicines”, and that when you were working, you bought your mother things, but when you now ask her for money, she will not give any, not even pocket money.
I am sorry, Mina, that you are suffering. Can you tell me approximately how old you are and if you are attending high school, or college. as well as why you are seeing a psychiatrist and doctors?

I am so sorry that your mother abused you, that your father added to it, and that you are suffering the consequences of her abuse. My mother abused me and I suffered a whole lot as a result. Almost 10 years ago, I ended all contact with her (and within a year I stopped taking all the psychiatric drugs I was on!). It was difficult, but eventually, I reaped the benefits. I am still (I am older than you) not free of the severe consequences of her abuse of me, but things are better for me. I wish that you shared more and that we can communicate for a while.

January 17, 2023 at 8:23 am #413970MinaParticipantWhy does she want to keep me alive then?
January 17, 2023 at 8:26 am #413971AnonymousGuestDear Mina:
For me to understand why your own mother is “doing like this“, can you tell me what this is: what specifically did she do to you that was most abusive?

January 17, 2023 at 8:32 am #413972MinaParticipantI have given her love and respect. What do my parents want. Now she scares me by calling me mad. They got me married twice. First marriage annulled second one demanding money. I was Virgin my parents got me married to divorced person.
January 17, 2023 at 8:35 am #413973MinaParticipantShe used to put hot knife on my body. Throw food plates. I tried telling my friends but no help no support.
January 17, 2023 at 8:40 am #413974MinaParticipantIs it possible that my mother said and did things which triggers me emotionally. I lost jobs. Now I’m dependent financially on them I have type 2 diabetes on top.
January 17, 2023 at 8:41 am #413975AnonymousGuestDear Mina:
I suppose y0u live in India, or in a country where arranged marriages is the practice? You say that your mother called you mad, but she never said that she was sorry for anything, did she? Is she the type of person who is always Right and never Wrong, and if there is a problem- it must be someone else’s fault and someone else who is crazy (never her)?

Double posting, I just read your two most recent posts. “Is it possible that my mother said and did things which triggers me emotionally”? – yes, of course what she said and did (including putting a hot knife on your body) triggered you and damaged you. Parental abuse always triggers and damages children.

January 17, 2023 at 8:44 am #413977MinaParticipantYes. Everytime it’s my fault. From 20 years I’m on medication. I used to ask my friends if something was wrong with me. Nobody said anything. What do you think my mom wants?
January 17, 2023 at 8:47 am #413978MinaParticipantIn one of the office a person used to Leer at me. My mother kept quiet. She said I’m I imagining. Butwhy?
