Be strong enough to stand alone, smart enough to know when you need help, and brave enough to ask for it.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only choice.

Never assume that loud is strong and quiet is weak.

Until you heal the wounds of your past, you are going to bleed. You can bandage the bleeding with food, with alcohol, with drugs, with work, with cigarettes, with sex; but eventually, it will all ooze through and stain your life. You must find the strength to open the wounds, stick your hands inside, pull out the core of the pain that is holding you in your past, the memories, and make peace with them.

Wake up today knowing that whatever happens, you can handle it.

What hurts you today makes you stronger tomorrow.

In case no one told you today:
 You’re beautiful. You’re loved. You’re needed. You’re alive for a reason.
You’re stronger than you think. You’re going to get through this.
I’m glad you’re alive. Don’t give up!

In the end, you’ve got to be your own hero because everyone’s busy trying to save themselves.

Pause and remember: Every single event in your life, especially the difficult lessons, have made you smarter, stronger, and wiser than you were yesterday.

Never think you are weak if you cry. Every tear is replaced with wisdom and strength.

Remember the time you thought you could never survive? You did it, and you can do it again.

When people say, ‘Everything is going to be okay,’ they don’t mean everything is going to turn out exactly as you hope it will. No one can promise that. They mean you are stronger than you think, so no matter what happens, you will be okay.

Just breathe. You are strong enough to handle your challenges, wise enough to find solutions to your problems, and capable enough to do whatever needs to be done.

I survived because the fire inside me burned brighter than the fire around me.

People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within.

We either make ourselves miserable or we make ourselves strong. The amount of work is the same.

In the end, some of your greatest pains become your greatest strengths.

I have endured, I have been broken, I have known hardship, I have lost myself. But here I stand, still moving forward, growing stronger each day.

When I look back on my life, I see pain, mistakes, and heartache. When I look in the mirror, I see strength, learned lessons, and pride in myself.

Strength shows not only in the ability to persist, but in the ability to start over.
