It’s okay to be sad after making the right decision.

You are being presented with two choices: evolve or repeat.

Pick your battles. Nope. That’s too many battles. Put some battles back. Pick fewer battles.

Sometimes deciding who you are is deciding who you’ll never be again.

Look at your daily habits and ask yourself if they are causing you to evolve or revolve. Are you moving forward, or just moving in circles?

It’s okay that you don’t know how to move on. Start with something easier… like not going back.

If I waited until I had all my ducks in a row, I’d never get across the street. Sometimes you just have to gather up what you’ve got and make a run for it.

No matter what you do, someone won’t be pleased. Someone will think your choices are wrong. And someone will tell you what you should do instead. No matter which path you take, someone will seem to be doing better. Someone will have more than you. And someone else’s life may look more impressive on paper. If you’re being true to yourself, none of that will matter because you’ll have something more satisfying than approval and the illusion of “success”: a life that feels right for you, based on your own wants, needs, values, and priorities.

In the end, people will judge you anyway. So don’t live your life impressing others. Live your life impressing yourself.

It can feel scary to make a big decision knowing that the future is uncertain, but we can’t panic and obsess our way to clarity. Sometimes we simply need to get out of our head and give our heart some space to find the answer.

Clear your mind. Your heart is trying to tell you something.

Don’t let your fear paralyze you. The scariest paths often lead to the most exciting places.

If you’re looking for a sign from the universe, and you don’t see one, consider it a sign that what you really need is to look inside yourself.

There are no wrong turns, only unexpected paths.

Always follow your gut instinct, even if you do it a little late. It’s better to renege and risk being judged than it is to do something you don’t want to do because you’re afraid of how it will look.

Ten years from now, make sure you can say you chose your life, you didn’t settle for it.

Don’t be afraid to take an unfamiliar path. Sometimes they’re the ones that take you to the best places.

You only have so much emotional energy each day. Don’t spend it on things that don’t matter or on people who don’t value you or your time. Be discerning.

Always, always trust your first gut instincts. If you feel something’s wrong, it usually is.

You feel what you feel, and whatever you feel is valid; it doesn’t have to make sense. Feelings happen. Only when you believe your feelings are truth and feel an urgency to act on them do irrational feelings become bad decisions.
