For the programmers out there: what languages do you currently know?
I’m learning everyday, but I’m currently knowledgeable in HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, and a very small amount of Ruby.

March 20, 2014 at 7:31 am #53150Salimon AhmedParticipantI am at the very beginning of my programming/software engineering path. Finding it very challenging and so different from what I am comfortable with. Any tips/advice for a n00by to help get his head around this foreign language?
Thank you in advance. =]

It helps to have a modular mindset. If you try to make sense of code as a whole, it can become too overwhelming. You need to look at it as smaller parts that make a whole. In general, every small part takes in information, processes it and passes on information. You just have to follow the logic and the process with a flow chart and focus into those small parts one at a time, and you’ll have a program.

The hardest part is understand how to think in a “programming” way. Once you know how to use functions, arrange loops, use lookups, etc. the rest is just individual commands. There should be many helpful forums- if your not sure how write code just try to google it. You’ll be surprised with what you find
July 25, 2015 at 11:30 am #80427GrantParticipantHTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, Python+Django, Ruby+Rails, Java, little bit of C, and a little bit of C#. Like Jordan said the more languages you learn the easier it is to learn new ones. It took me months of following tutorials on Codecademy before things started to click XD. After a while though it’s really fun to progress from little console apps up to real websites with users and such. The feeling of taking an idea and making something interactive out of it is awesome.

Crypto bots open transactions on positive price fluctuations based on a number of oscillators and indicators. And it exits trades on the pre-set algorithm. The main goal is to increase revenue and reduce losses and risks.
