jockParticipantHow presumptuous of you? I mightn’t be eating anything for goodness sake!

AnonymousGuestWhat?
What did I miss?
Jack, fix this thread so I understand it. You know it is against my religion to not answer a thread you start with all thoroughness I can muster.

jockParticipantI was answering my own question
November 18, 2015 at 9:09 pm #87893
jockParticipantOK I just had a choc. white cream biscuit with coffee.
So I often eat while on the computer.
Not a good habit I know.November 19, 2015 at 5:17 am #87902
InkyParticipantHi jack,
I thought you were ripping on the ultra PC, super sensitive culture we are living in now. ๐
“Happy Holidays!”
“HOW DARE YOU!?!?” ๐Best,
Inky
P.S. I am usually eating something a Vegan would send death threats for, but only if I were, say, a famous vegan blogger who ate meat once towards the end of her blog. Just remember, you outraged, that Old ladies wearing furs is better to go after than biker dudes wearing leather. LOL

AnonymousGuestCarrot, jack. I just got myself one and purposefully took it to the computer so I can answer your thread.

jockParticipantThis thread is a good wake up call for me, someone who tends to mindlessly eat.
Thick Nut Hen said that we should only focus on eating, whilst we are eating. I tried it and gee, so boring.November 19, 2015 at 1:50 pm #87928
AnonymousGuestDear Jack:
When I eat my mind wonders a lot even though I want to focus on the great pleasure of eating, the pleasure I seek so often. Then when I DO eat, I miss much of the experience. How is it for you?
Just had lunch: egg whites, chicken, avocado, fish oil, wheat/corn wraps, tomato, finished with a bit of grapefruit.

AnonymousGuestDear Jack:
I finally read the title of the thread and your first post and got it. Amazing how sometimes I don’t get the simplest things- mind must have been engaged otherwise before. I love eating, way too much, so much so that I am attached to it still. I mean, attached when not hungry and between eating. Something I look forward to and wish I didn’t look forward it THAT much. When I eat I try to eat healthy AND tasty. To take advantage of eating because I know I can’t eat ALL the time, which seems to be my preference, if only that was doable (tried and extended time eating as far as anyone can, I believe)
My attachment to food and eating is intense and I am in the process of weakening it bit by bit, and I mean very little bit by bit. Patiently…
* Jennifer: I like you poem and am flattered that you chose to relieve your boredom with a touch of positive attention to me and Jack.
