Sorry for long post, but I promise this is very interesting!

Last Monday I started my new part time job at a certain establishment, and I met a girl who is also into spirituality. She’s into crystals, tarot, meditation, and even has guides she can talk to on demand. I thought that was amazing! Turns out we’re also both left-handed. Who knew! (Lefties only make up 10 percent of the population). We have a good day, and I find myself having the slightest crush on her, so naturally I try to act confident and make sure I have nothing on my face, while in reality I’m fumbling around and messing up because I’m paying more attention to our conversation rather than the work 😛

Before I get into the super weird stuff that happened between shifts, let me say that she squares up her shoulders to me when we talk, she looks at me dead in the eye when we talk, she seems invested in our conversation (especially regarding spirituality) and when I say something like “I know this sounds weird, but I sometimes talk to plants to ask them for wisom on certain things” she’ll say “No that doesn’t sound weird at all”. Me being a dude, I wanna think these signs mean something, but for all I know she could just be a nice person. (She mentioned several times she’s closed off really, and only has one or two close friends, and spends most of her time at home, and I saw her today when we were working, same reactions and stuff)

Anyways, on to the weird stuff that happened. After my shift, I was talking to a shrub in my backyard near my koi pond where I sit, and started talking about her (I’m gonna reveal some embarassing stuff here) and saying things like “I don’t think it’s coincidence we are both left handed, like spirituality, and connect so well” and asking things such as if it were possible she could be someone compatible to be with, etc. She shrub basicly told me nothing related to that, so I changed topics and had a conversation there. When I was done, I went to the tree in my backyard and put my hand on it. I feel bad for it because it’s bark has been damaged by a hatchet a while ago, so I did that expecting to just have a normal conversation, but the tree gave me the word “reekba” (just a phonetic pronounciation) when I connected with it. This is the first time a plant has ever communicated with me telepathicly. I thought that was super weird, and asked it who or what was a “reekba”. The tree shut me out by that point and stopped talking to me. Later that night, I research what “reekba” is, and I come accross this link here:

    https://www.quotescosmos.com/bible/bible-concordance/H7396.html

You dont have to click on it, but basically “reekba” or רִכְבָּה meant “chariot” in a verb present tense, in Hebrew (which is the oldest language in ancient civilization, mind you) so I thought that was weird, but also kind of interesting.

The next day, I’m researching tarot, because the girl, who I’m just going to refer to as “Kale”, (if you know her, you’d understand) mentioned that she does tarot. So I’m researching that, and turns out tarot cards have origins in ancient hebrew mysticism (and the Qabala). So I remembered the hebrew word for chariot yesterday, and was like “what the heck”, and looked online to see if there was a tarot card for a chariot. Turns out there is! Here’s what it means:

The Chariot is a card about overcoming conflicts and moving forward in a positive direction. One needs to keep going on and through sheer hard work and commitment he will be victorious.

so by this point, I’m thinking things are super duper weird, even the cards have hebrew words on them. The card is also the card for the star sign “Cancer” but no, she’s not a cancer. However she’s very close, only a few weeks off from June 21. (Gemini). Later that night I’m trying to astral project, and in my head I see a moon, on the left, and a sun on the right with a line in the middle separating the two. I go to look up something like that, and the Qabalah has that, representing the masculine (sun) and feminine (moon) side of your aura!!!

Seriously, something HAS to be up.

Sadly though, I’m one of those guys who has looks, can be confident, and is pretty much what most women want in a man. I’m genuenly not saying this to pat myself on the back, I’m saying while I may be able to pick her up, I’d be afraid of losing someone the plant spirits, if you will, led me to.

    Any thoughts?

    Dear Lindzee:

Combining the information you provided in your very first thread, Afraid, and this one: you are a 17 year old male teenager,  living at home with Christian parents. In May this year you “left the Faith”, and you’ve been “exploring spirituality” online only because you “can’t even visit a spirit center for fear of being kicked out of the house”. Recently you crashed your car and lost a part-time job. You shared that although you left the Christian faith you are still afraid of hell. You shared that you are “one of those guys who has looks, can be confident, and is pretty much what most women want in a man”, and that you are a good liar (“I’m a good liar”).

You recently started a new part-time job, and you are having “the slightest crush” on a female co-worker, Kale. Recently, after your work shift, you sat by the koi pond in the backyard of your parents’ home, talking to a shrub about Kale, asking the shrub if you and Kale are compatible. The shrub talked back to you, but didn’t answer your question. So, you changed topics and talked to the shrub about something else.

After that, you walked to a tree, still in your backyard, not expecting to “just have a normal conversation” with the tree because its bark was damaged. To your surprise, the tree talked to you, saying only one word, “reekba”. You asked the tree what the word meant, but the tree refused to answer (“The tree shut me out by that point and stopped talking to me”).

You closed your original post on this thread with: “while I may be able to pick her up, I’d be afraid of losing someone the plant spirits, if you will, led me to. Any thoughts?”-

    – Can you elaborate on what you mean by “pick her up”, and what may happen if you lost someone that plant spirits led you to (will the plant spirits punish you?)

Yeah…Why do you mention my other threads out of curiosity? Just wondering 😛

Yeah that’s pretty much my story, a lot has been happening since I have gotten into spirituality, especially since I met her. I just have a feeling that spirituality is what I’ve been looking for all this time. I’ve poured hours and hours in research since I’ve started about a month ago, and have been connecting the dots with several evidences to help support this.

When I said “pick her up” I basically meant I think I could be successful in asking her out on a date. When I said I’m afraid of losing someone that the plant spirits led me to, I mean that I’m putting my trust in them, and I’m afraid that if they were wrong in her, if I can continue to trust their wisdom and guidance.

Lastly, when I said I was a good liar…heh..that gave me a bad image. I really only lie to my parents, and only when nessicary. Such as when I’m spending a lot of time in my room, I say I’m praying (to God) but in reality, I’m meditating.

    Dear Lindzee:

I mentioned your first thread because that’s what I always do when communicating with members: I read or re-read a member’s posts in past threads, and then, in the member’s new thread, I almost always retell what the member shared in the previous threads, including quotes. It helps me gather a wider understanding of a member, when I do that.

“I’m putting my trust in them, and I’m afraid that if they were wrong in her, if I can continue to trust their wisdom and guidance”- well, the shrub didn’t tell you anything about you and Kale. The tree told you one word. And so, you are afraid that the one word the tree said may not be trustworthy. I’d say one word is not enough to guide a person in regard to a possible love relationship. Can you imagine buying a book titled: A Guide to Relationships, you open the book and there’s just one word? Not enough, says I.

“I really only lie to my parents, and only when necessary. Such as when I’m spending a lot of time in my room, I say I’m praying (to God) but in reality, I’m meditating”- it’s a shame that your father, being a theologist, having studied at great length the many and varied religious beliefs on earth, is so strict in regard to his son’s spiritual/ religious beliefs, not allowing a deviation from his own, personal beliefs.

    Hi Lindzee,

The way I see it is that you have met with someone in your new place of work with whom you have formed a connection.  Chances are you have been guided there by an outside force.  She is interested in crystals, tarot, meditation and is in touch with her guides.  If you feel strongly attracted to her, then please ask her out.  This is your prerogative.  There is no way of knowing how that will work out.  Perhaps she will be your ‘teacher’ in the short term or perhaps you will form a long term relationship based on friendship or love.

My gut instinct tells me that you have been connected to this person, Kale, in a previous life.  Nothing you can say to me would sound weird.

Hope you can work it out!

    Peggy

Thank you @anita and @Peggy for both of your responses! She and I were talking yesterday, and she had mentioned when she met me that she felt I was very knowledgeable and even thought I was an Indigo child or old soul. I’m not so sure about that, but she’s confident in it lol. I really do hope she and I can benefit each other to grow spiritually. I feel that individuals can only go so far in their spiritual walk without a partner, as the 4th Hermetic principle states, “Everything is dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites; like and unlike are the same; opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree; extremes meet; all truths are but half-truths; all paradoxes may be reconciled.” so I personally believe we can grow spiritually more when we have a partner involved. Could just be me though 😛

    @anita
yes, it really is sad. He’s so close minded and I can tell you, it has damaged our relationship severley. He’s verbally and (occasionally) physically abused me for things that I said that he calls “wicked”. He said many years ago that he doesn’t recognize me as his son, because I am so “wicked” and “devilish”…Even my mother is as close minded, yet thankfully she is at least kind, and gentle.

    Dear Lindzee:

You are welcome. “closed minded, yet.. kind, and gentle” is a whole lot better than closed minded and abusive. Coming to think about it, closed minded, kind and gentle is better than open minded and abusive: that’s why Do-No-Harm is an excellent, highest priority guide for moral, or ethical human behavior, I strongly believe.

Yes, I agree exactly. Not to get political or anything, but there are plenty of progressive people (who tend to be open minded) yet are very abusive. It’s a venn diagram. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you believe, you are just as likely to be in the wrong (abusive) as you are someone who disagrees with you.

    Dear Lindzee:

Yes, true: there are progressive/ left wingers who are dishonest and abusive and there are conservatives/ right wingers who are honest and kind. Unfortunately when honest and kind right wingers vote for political leaders who will not do anything to slow down or stop global warming- all together, they harm life on our planet. Sorry, for digressing from the title of your thread, Soul Mates a Reality?  (The Global Warming Reality hit me hard last Fri-Mon, living in the PNW).

Haha, it’s no worries. I was the one who gave the progressive example. But yeah, I agree. Everyone is capable of being guilty.

Soul mates are real! There are many people out there who have been searching for their soul mate since they were young children. They may not know what they want but they have a strong feeling that they will find their perfect match. This can sometimes lead them to feel like giving up on finding love. However, if you keep looking, you will eventually meet your true soul mate.

    Hello Lindzee,

I have been thinking carefully about your post.  If the spirits are trying to communicate with you, there could be various interpretations to the messages you saw and heard.

I think Chariot can also mean “Journey”. That could mean you or Kale or both of you going on a journey.  It could also have a more abstract meaning, such as “Journey of Life”.  The sun and moon could also mean day and night, and Cancer could refer to parts if June and July.

There can be so many interpretations, that sometimes, it is better to be guided by several means – perhaps developing wisdom, experience and intuition and if course developing patience.

I know people who have met their soul mates, but I have not personally, and am much older than you are. It is likely that my life was meant for a different purpose.

I hope you have many more opportunities to get c to know each other. It dies sound as though you have many of the same interests.

A very important aspect of the Chariot tarot card is successfully balancing the intuitive and rational capacities in one’s application of will in a given situational context. “Winning” by proceeding in a manner expressing the continuous subtle balance of one’s psychological and nonpsychological capacities is the work of struggling to apply subtle adjustments without letting up throughout the the various situational increments in which one manages skillful and appropriate adaption.

Although conventions relative to “winning” might come to mind in terms of self-reflective connotations —in terms of using situations to refine one’s self, simply adapting one’s intent, curiosity and sense of desire to meet the needs of the situation by teaming insights derivative of ego-desire and objective intuition in a balanced way could be seen as “winning” as well.
