So far it feels great.  First time doing it though, hard keeping my eyes closed.  Now easy.  When mediating, minds is shut down and I am happy.  Sometimes I fly into a new world.  I love it.  I cry.  To take out the negative.  Of course!  I meditate for 5-7 minutes.

    Hello there,

What meditation technique do you use, how do you zone out and not think of anything ?

    Hi, Alexandra.

My mediation I do is I go to my happy place-the dams/marina.  A great Waterfall.  Sit on the ground and close my eyes for 5/7 minutes.

That’s wonderful! I to am new to meditation. I just began in January after I quit my job. From there on my life changed forever. I don’t know how I lived life before. I meditate a lot. Sometimes I even have non guided meditation music on while doing homework and such. It’s become such an important aspect in my life that I am so grateful. Youtube is wonderful. They have so many meditations for free. I love going on there and finding exactly what I need in that moment. I also love hay house radio and listening to speakers on youtube. It really allows me to grow spiritually.

Meditation really helps me. I’ve always struggled with the common stress triggers in life: my husband and child, our business (a busy restaurant), all the bills we have to pay, traffic, health problems, etc. It’s been tough. Since starting meditation I’ve been feeling much calmer and more capable of dealing with life in general. It’s a guided meditation that has both videos and audios on different topics. You watch the 3 minute video and then you can play the 30-40 minute audio in the background and you can get on with the tasks you have to perform. This is really helpful to me because I have way too much to do to be sitting down for long periods of time. If anyone is interested in this guided meditation course I can give you the link to it and you can check it out for yourself.

Best wishes to everyone and I hope you all find inner peace.
