Dear I choose Healthy&Independent:
I like your choice!!! I also like how you define words in your posts (“Heal- to become healthy again or to recover from an injury”), something that I am in the habit of doing when I need a better feel for what a word means.
“I’m going to be patient… creating a healthy routine for myself”- these two things: the practice of an attitude of patience, and the practice of a daily, healthy routine, are both very important to mental health, so… you got it, you know what it takes, I-Choose-Healthy-&-Independent!

I want to thank you for taking time out of your days to read and respond to my messages. It’s sometimes hard for me to reach out for help because of how I was treated when I asked for help as a kid . 2022 wasn’t all that bad I finally accomplished my GED . Life is hard but I am trying to make good decisions. I read books I have my exercise bike , I don’t smoke or drink I do eat edibles . Also how do you show appreciation to others , like when they are kind to you or just in general.

You are very welcome and please reach out here, on your thread, anytime you need to, anytime that you feel like it!
Congratulations for your 2022 accomplishments: Earning your GED (a big one!), No longer smoking (a huge accomplishment as it is so unhealthy to smoke!), no longer drinking, having an exercise bike (and exercising?), and reading books!
“How do you show appreciation to others, like when they are kind to you or just in general“- you know how to do it. I know that you do because you repeatedly expressed your appreciation here on your thread during the last two years of your thread (Jan 13, 2021 was the date of your original post, today it is Dec 16, 2022).
Your appreciation and grace has made my 2022 a better year than it would have been otherwise: thank you!

Nothing changed physically. But mentally I felt like I completed something important. I did 10 minutes.

There are lots and lots of people in the world who did not accomplish a single minute of exercise yesterday, and you did a whole 10 minutes on your bike, CoNgRaTuLaTiOnS !
Remember how satisfied you felt yesterday for completing this important exercise, and aim at completing the same today, will you?

Yes , Exercising I believe is only rewarding when I’m consistent. I want some type of exercise to be included in my daily routine . I remember years ago exercising and feeling my best . I have to forget about the reward and just exercise everyday .
This situation is similar to the GED . I didn’t accomplish it until I realized how important it was to me . I had to make myself study everyday for at least a hour , no reward daily but by staying consistent and not stopping I was able to pass the test .

You want exercise to be included in your daily routine, and therefore, to do it consistently, every day. Same as I do, and it really makes a difference for me. I start every morning with a 2 minute simple exercise, while I wait for my coffee to be done: it sets my brain on the right path: focused and somewhat optimistic.
“This situation is similar to the GED. I didn’t accomplish it until I realized how important it was to me. I had to make myself study every day for at least an hour, no reward daily, but by staying consistent and not stopping I was able to pass the test“-
– keep this success in mind and add to it every day as you accomplish your goal of making exercise part of your daily routine. I hope to read from you how it goes today, and every day!

You are welcome. How exciting that you are planning on signing up for the tiny buddha‘s Recreate Your Life Story: Change the Script & be the Hero– a fun, creative course, blending self-help and film, created by Lori Deschene, Founder of tiny buddha, and screen writer Ehren Prudhel.
The title of the course is tailored to you because I referred to you as hero many times and one of your screen names, for a long time, was Hero!
