About saying wishing you the best, etc., sounding like I am ending a friendship- English is not my first (or second) language, so sometimes I misuse words and terms. I am not focused now, so I’ll read and reply Sat morning, goodnight, Hero!

“Things could have gotten so bad where child protective services could have been called on me and I could have been labeled as a unfit parent“- anyone can report a parent to Child Protective Services (CPS) but it takes enough evidence to convince a judge, following an investigation, that a parent is unfit. To be labeled unfit by a judge, it takes proving that the parent does not have his or her child’s best interest in mind. From all that you shared through the years, you’ve had both your children’s best interest in mind and heart.

* CPS personnel knows that no parent is perfect, so imperfections by themselves are not basis to determine that a parent is unfit.

This is hard . hero”- driving a school bus for a living reads good to me if it pays significantly better than your current job.

I am guessing that you are thinking about working as a bus driver in the same school district you are currently working for, or maybe another school district in your area, and each pays a different salary and benefits: something for you to investigate.

“A lot of people have supportive family members and friends who help raise young children… I don’t have any“- it would have been nice if you had supportive family.

“It’s hard most of the time . But it gives me peace knowing that the important things we need are covered because I’m the provider“- you are the provider and it is hard most of the time, yet you do it, day after day.. admirable!

“Hero – a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements“- amazing: when I wrote “admirable” right above, it was before I read this sentence (this morning), not having your word “admired” in mind. So, we both agree!

“I think I’m making plans too fast . I want higher pay but I’m not ready . I have to do one thing at a time . First I have to move to a new apartment  then I can change careers . I’m causing myself stress . I want better for myself“- Moderation and Patience are key, one thing at a time, one step at a time… you got it, Hero!

Happy Monday to you, amazing Hero. I wish that everyone had the opportunity to read your sucess testimony above, it’s uniquely written and very inspiring!

You worked for a whole year to earn your Ged; it was difficult, costly, emotionally taxing… and yet, you made it!

“One day I’m gonna have a success story to tell because despite of all the pain I endured I’m still improving myself“- you already have a success story to tell, an ongoing- continuing  story. Thank you for telling it!

“My pain makes my success story unique because sometimes I didn’t know how I was going to survive but I always do“- this sentence should be framed and hung on the wall.. on many walls in many places- for people to read and be inspired by.
