I recently have gone back into the dating world, and met someone online. He shares a lot of the same interest as me (political beliefs, etc..). I feel uncomfortable moving fast, which I told him. He asked me to be his girlfriend 3x before I told him that I was not interested in that. I am the type of person who likes to get to know who I am talking to before I commit. I texted him this, and he basically stopped talking to me that day. The next day, he texted me asking if we can still be friends. THIS…this is where I messed up by saying yes…

He wanted to video chat, so we did. He pointed out I had a zit on my face and literally asked me if I had herpes…like seriously? Not only that, but I told him I don’t want kids and I plan to get my tubes tied and he is asking me to wait just in case I change my mind. ALSO, he said if we were to engage and be intimate and if I got pregnant, I can easily get an abortion or get on birth control…what is it with some men who think this would be easy???

Anyways, I guess I answered my own question..yes…this is toxic, but how do I stop talking to him? We’ve only been talking for a little over a week and he is just making me so uncomfortable. I really realized it today.

Woah woah woah…..trust your gut. This guy sounds crazy. Honestly, if a girl talked about getting pregs in the first week of talking, dating, whatever, she would literally be called a total and complete psycho. This is a no brainer. Move onto someone else. Next!

    Good luck 🙂

you can just ghost this person. Usually I think ghosting is immature. BUT there is a place for it….and this is TOTALLY the place!

You could just let him know that you do not think you are compatible together and wish him well in the future.
