Hi Tiny Buddha Community,
Tonight I was lucky enough to attend a free energy healing at this place that holds great spiritual classes. I have this overwhelming feeling of joy. Joy that comes from within. I have had such an amazing experience with receiving love from others and allowing myself to give love also. It’s an overflowing river that continues to run through me. I highly recommend energy healing. I love meditation. Meditation has helped me tremendously over these past couple months. Sometimes, I feel that energy can be so strong you need some help to get things cleared. I’m curious has anyone been to an energy healing? I’d love to hear of your experience. Also does anyone do energy healing ?

Do you know what kind of work it was you experienced. There are numerous kinds, some are more effective for certain situations than others and some people resonate with certain modalities more than with others. Some work best in person while others are or can be done at a distance. For example, I do all of my work on the phone and have worked with clients all over the world.
Warmly, Sydney

I have no experience with the energy healing you are referring to. The reason I am posting here now is because on the list of posts it appears that you didn’t get any responses, the post by Sydney did not submit correctly, a technical issue. With this posting I intend to correct the appearance of no responses.

January 11, 2018 at 12:21 pm #186187SydneyParticipantHi Anita,
I’m confused. I received two emails that my post had not been submitted correctly even though I was logged in, and now when I look at this page it looks like it IS posted, so does this mean that Christine and anyone else can see it?? Do I need to write it again? What can I do or what shouldn’t I do to make sure things do post correctly?
This is my first time on Tiny Buddha and was surprised yet not surprised to see Christine’s question. I’m happy to answer questions anyone has about energy work and energy healing (basically the same thing; “healing” isn’t necessarily physical healing, although it can be).
Warmly,
Sydney

First, to clarify, I am a member here like you, not the owner, a moderator, or an administrator of any kind.
Your post does appear fine here and the OP, Christine is or will be able to read your reply. What I refered to in “did not submit correctly” is that on the list of TOPICS, you have to the left the titles of threads and to the right the names of members who last posted on the threads.
Yesterday, after you posted here, your name did not show to the right of the title of this thread. It was Christine’s name to the right, as if she did not receive any replies. I wanted her name removed as the one last posted so that she will read your reply.

January 13, 2018 at 2:46 am #186449VJParticipantHello anita,
I have faced the issue multiple times – submitting a post and then its not reflecting under Topics with the name of the latest person who recently responded to the post.
But then when I opened the post after some time my latest response was in there. Which means the actual post does get submitted although it does not immediately reflect on the topics page and shows up after some time.
So then in order to know more, I wrote this issue to the technical person of the website and below is the response I received.
“What you’re seeing is the page caching at work, which lets us serve a lot of people without crippling the server resources”
So it seems to be an intentional technical feature of the site.
Have a wonderful and joyous new year!

Thank you for the good wishes and for the update. I wish you well as well.
When I submit and it doesn’t reflect under Topics, I will continue to add a second post because the adding of a second post almost always fixes the problem for the particular thread. To be more accurate, from now on, my second post will state: “* didn’t reflect under Topics”.

Based on your above comments, would you mind, if you prefer to share either one or more of them in the below thread.(https://tinybuddha.com/topic/relaxation-meditation-techniques/)
Although, the name of the thread is relaxation and meditation techniques, but if you scroll through the other posts in this thread, it has turned out into “healing techniques”.
Meditation comes from the word “medery” which means healing. Sometimes I wish there was a way to rename the thread as “Life Healing Techniques” because it could be about healing anything – the mind, body or the soul.
So anything that you might want to share which would be healing to others in any way.If you do choose to post at least I am going to use it in my own experience when faced with life challenges and also in my posts on this site I do keep people pointing out to this page.
Warm Regards,

January 25, 2018 at 12:17 pm #189005MarkParticipantHi Christine,
I swear by my Body Talk practitioner. BT is an energy healing modality. What I like is their premise that the body has its own inner wisdom to heal itself. The practitioner is the facilitator toward that healing. I also like that they don’t call themselves as healers for that shows the integrity of the practice.
The other principles of BT is that disease is caused by stress and that shows up as parts of ourselves (not only body parts but mind and spirit parts) being disconnected or out of sync.
The practitioner finds out which parts are out of sync or disconnected and sync them up and/or connect them appropriately.
I got my anxiety cured, my ADHD cured, and my low thyroid cured (was on medication for 20 years). I would not have believed the effectiveness of this process without experiencing it first hand.
The friend who pointed me to this process had her Lyme disease cured.
This process is not connected to any explicit spiritual practice. This is more of “getting on the table and laying down to receive” practice.
What is the name of the healing you had experienced Christine?
Mark
