You talked with his ex girlfriend, the one who told him to choose between her and his child? If this is the one, then .. well, I don’t know if she fits the Narcissit label, but she is not a decent woman.

Regarding you being  “very snappy, very miserable, I got angry easily and I was possessive”- if you exhibited these behaviors with a decent man, then you would need to work on these. But with a man who  is not decent, the solution is to not be with him.
