I fly out of town tomorrow evening to start filming a music video all this week and I don’t believe I am at the comfortable weight I want to be. My gut/digestion has been giving me some issues the last 3 weeks and I’ve been doing all the necessary things to cleanse myself and watch all artificial carbs/sugars/starches. I work out every other day and I’ve seen results but I personally need to lose 5 more pounds. And that’s going to take at least another week for me to lose 5 more pounds. Having time off from work, I was enjoying all the foods I don’t get to enjoy like everybody else but that came with consequences obviously.
Just disappointed in myself that I didn’t see this coming, as my metabolism has been good to me all this year and I for the most part eat really healthy and watch my diet/weight regularly.

To me five pounds is negligible. A wardrobe weighs about five pounds LOL.
You can also dress and do your makeup and film at certain angles to make you look thinner.
But when I watch a music video, it’s really to listen to the music. I think you’re being too perfectionistic with yourself.
Please give us a link when it’s available! 🙂

The weight varied by as much as 7 pounds! ! ! (I used to have pretty severe body image issues and I was proving a point to myself.) Plus, other people RARELY notice a 5 pound weight gain even is real. I definitely wouldn’t beat myself up over it. Just drink lots of water, eat healthy foods and get back on track. But most importantly, treat yourself as kindly as you’d treat a friend in the same situation.

I promise you that I’m not trying to be a perfectionist, it’s just that I’m really petite, so I can’t hide 5 pounds like people taller than me can, I wish 🙁 Even when I gain 3 pounds it shows because I’m too petite and can’t hide it like that lol. When I lose 5 pounds, people think I lost 10 pounds LOL. I always weigh myself in the mornings after using the after the restroom first thing in the morning when waking up. Doctors and fitness trainers say it’s because we release all the water and toxins after waking up and using the restroom first thing in the morning. So that’s why you always step on the scale and weigh yourself after peeing in the morning, as that is your actual weight. Throughout the door or even int he evening is never a good time because that’s when you retain all your water throughout the day. I weighed myself this morning and I’m happy with what I saw on the scale, progress… 🙂 Nothing major but I do need to stay at a healthy weight, as I’m a little heavier than usual. Not trying to be super thin at all but I need to be at a healthy, leaner weight for my height. Everything is fine now though. 🙂
Tami – I’m not that tall so I can’t hide 5 pounds, I wish though lol and happily envy people who are 5’7 and taller and you can even tell when they gain 5 pounds. When you’re petite, it shows. I have digestion issues sometimes and if people are really smart and know about it, when they see my stomach protruding, they can tell right away I’m having intestinal/digestion issues, as my stomach is always usually flat & toned. My close friends and family know right away usually because I’m lean/toned everywhere else, yet my stomach is slightly protruding. If you ever see a thin person who has a food baby after they eat, they’re stomach is bloated/protruding, it means whatever they ate doesn’t agree with their digestion. I learned a long time ago that we may love and enjoy certain foods but certain foods don’t love and enjoy us back. Always pay attention to how your entire body and tummy feels after eating. If you have any symptoms like Feeling, sluggish, sleepy, tired or headache. Your body and tummy is trying to tell you that what you just ate, isn’t good for you.
I learned all this information over the years because of abnormal weight gain, breaking out on my face and feeling sluggish after certain foods I ate, that didn’t digest well or agree with me. When protrusion doesn’t go away, it’s time for a safe & effective colon cleanse which I’ve done before and it helps A LOT. The one I researched and highly recommend that is safe – http://www.mindbodygreen.com/0-23775/why-i-recommend-chlorophyll-enemas-even-if-you-never-thought-youd-try-one.html

I completely agree with you Tami and I have been doing that and it’s working so far. 🙂 Been losing the weight at a healthy pace, the past 2 weeks.
Thank you all for the information and for being kind & understanding. I really appreciate it.
