That movie sounds like Heidi by Johanna,Spyri, children’s book classic! One thing my sisters and I used to do was right plays and then act them out with our dolls. I also used to ride my bike for hours, play on the swingset and jump rope.  We didn’t have computers then.  I also used to pretend I lived in a different country. Actually, I still use my imagination a lot! When I read or watch a movie I often imagine that I am the main character. Hope you have lots of fun and more memories! Holly-Kristine

Hi, sorry you are feeling so bad and sick and tired. I too have Ptsd and some health is sues. Luckily they are mostly getting better. I wont bore you with them but pleaee keep pushing until you get a c orrect diagnosis. One problem i had was pain for two years. I wanted certain tests and the doctors said no, that it couldnt be my gallbladder , the pain was on the wrong side. Finally i switched drs and begged for the tests. Guess what? My gallbladder was working only at three percent! They had to hurry me into surgery. If you think something is wrong dont let people tell you it is all in your head! Even loving family members can be wrong. Doctors, too.

Jerking and so forth can be an anxiety outlet. Remember be kind to yourself. Even if you cant overcome anxiety totally that is okay. It is okay to be you with any problems that you may have at this time. Hopefully little by little you will develop good coping mechanisms and you will have hope and joy again. Stay away from negativity. Even if loved ones get on your case, realize you know you best. Take a step back and relax. Go to your appts, ask for answers. Take good care of yourself. Sending you a spiritual hug! Please keep us updated. Holly-Kristine

Hi, you should check out the website called Beauty Redefined. It is run by two ladies in their thirties who are twins. They have phd’s in b ody image psychology. Their motto is Mybody is an instrument not an ornament! They focus on how we are more than looks! We are people! Our bodies should’ve be judged on looking good but we should realize our bodies Are Good, the body keeps us alive, alerts us to pa in, allows us to walk and breathe and sing and dance! You are mkre than just a body.

Also, that therapist sounds very odd. Is he licensed? When someone is talking about being judged and being stressed out about looks, he goes and comments on the merits of how pretty or ugky a princess is?! Unless he was playing devil’s advocate and trying to show you that people all have their own ideas of who is beautiful and who is not.

Please, know that you are worthwhile! If your doctor thinks you are healthy, that is great! It is okay to wear pretty clothes but only do it because you like the dress or outfit. It is okay ti exercise for health and fun but dont obsess about it to look a certain way. And frankly, when you think of a favorite friend or relative isnt it that they are nice or kind or interesting? Its not because they are super models right?  Being kind makes us beautiful .Bht you are more than beautiful, you are you!

Pleaee, if you have any eating disorder or exercise obsession get professional help. Please check out the site I mentioned. It is run by Lindsey and Lexi Kite. Hope to hear you are doing better! Blessings and Peace, Holly-Kristine

Hi, sorry to hear about the troubling thoughts you are having. I dont have all the answers  but I think I can help a little. The very fact that you have these thoughts and feelings show that y ou regret some of the things that happened. And, yes, Gid does love you! He (or however you view God) espee loves us when we admit our failures. Then we can start fresh and move forward!  While being yourself is always best, I don’t think there is anything wrong with wanting friends or people to love. We are all important. Of course what others think about our looks or job or education isn’t very important. But caring for others is good. I believe in God. Maybe He appeared in various ways to various people, I dont know. But whiever He is, He wants the best for us. Move forward. Start fresh! You are worthwhile. Find inner happiness and also feel free to care for others. One shouldn’t cancel out the other. It is hard and sad to lose others but someday we will be together. I am sending you good thoughts and a spiritual hug! Take care!
