Though I run this site, it is not mine. It's ours. It's not about me. It's about us. Your stories and your wisdom are just as meaningful as mine.
Hi there
Very true. However I’ve recentley found out about hsp,it was an eye opener for me and made so much sense about my life.It was an article on this site by Bryn Bamber. It has given me so much clarity about the way my life has been.
Like this post (and most people) I’ve been through the mill.Magnified with having hsp .Ive now decided I want to help people from my learning experiences .Turning negativity into a positive if you like.At 45 years old I’m just beginning to be myself. This article says it all.I was tired of life at 19 years old.But ,and a big but I’m still here ,I’ve found ways of coping with everyday life and I’m now in a much better place.
So if you’re out there struggling ,you can make it.You need to search and try things as Jesus said ‘seek and you will find ,knock and the door will be open for you’.
I’ve been there ,at the darkest recesses of my mind .You can do it ,you may need help ,you may need support.Ive attempted suicide three times ,some how I’m still here. The last one two years ago I was at the edge of death. In my hospital bed I decided -No More- I’m changing, and so did.Everyone out in turmoil ,I wish you strength and courage on the road to joy and happiness.
By the way,amazing site.
Love to you all
Tony
Hi Tony,
It was eye-opening for me, as well, to discover that I’m an HSP. Suddenly so much made sense. I’m glad you’re still here after all you’ve been through, as I can tell you have a light to share that can help others find their way out of the darkness. Thanks for sharing these inspiring words of hope and encouragement!
Love,
Lori
