Sometimes It’s Perfectly Okay and Absolutely Necessary to Do Nothing

About Lori Deschene

Lori Deschene is the founder of Tiny Buddha. She started the site after struggling with depression, bulimia, c-PTSD, and toxic shame so she could recycle her former pain into something useful and inspire others to do the same. You can find her books, including Tiny Buddha’s Gratitude Journal and Tiny Buddha’s Worry Journal, here and learn more about her eCourse, Recreate Your Life Story, if you’re ready to transform your life and become the person you want to be.

This resonates with me as a perfectionist that is trying to constantly work towards a future ideal and, consequently, is exhausted all the time. I try to take it easy but I feel so unproductive whenever I do (which is my personal insult). I hate feeling like I’m just letting life pass me by but it also irritates me to feel so required to always be pushing forward.

Head line is nice, but context below those are motto of the some folks at the District of Columbia.
