I think there’s no one-size-fits-all answer, because all people and relationships are unique. But here’s my personal answer: I share what I need to share, and I try to let go of the outcome. If I feel that sharing will only create more pain, I may then need to share my thoughts and feelings with someone else instead, just to get them out. But I’ve learned not to carry them inside alone, since this has never worked out well for me!

Sometimes we are surrounded by people who love us but are not ready to listen to us, at least in the way need. What then?
