Hello friends. I’m writing this quick post from my family’s house in Massachusetts after flying home on the red-eye on Saturday night. My grandmother, who was a hero to many, including me, passed away on Monday morning. Despite being a writer, and being asked to write a eulogy, I find myself somewhat at a loss for words.
For this reason, I may not write anything this week, though I will surely be writing about grandmother soon. I will aim to publish two posts from the community each day, but I may miss a day or two.
If you submitted a post to the blog on June 1st, please know it may take me a couple of weeks to respond, as I received a large volume of submissions, and I will be spending most of this week with my family.
Lots of love,
Lori

Condolences on the loss of your grandmother. I find that today’s guest post just reaffirms what I had an AHA moment about this morning while raking horse poo in my mares paddock….amazing what a mindless activity does for mental movement :).
The book Changing Behaviour sounds very interesting as well.

With others here, I send my condolences on the loss of your hero. I’m glad you’ve been able to spend time with your grandmother in recent months. Memories of her will inspire and guide you throughout the rest of your life.
Thank you for the comments everyone. I’ve been mostly disconnected this week, hence my slow response. Today was my grandmother’s funeral, and I wrote and delivered the eulogy. I’m honored that I had the opportunity to do it, and that I provided my family members with some levity by shining a light on all the most endearing, memorable moments and stories. It certainly did that for for me.
I hope you’re all doing well, and that you have a nice weekend.
Lori
Take your time, Lori. Try to have an easy weekend yourself! Take care!
