I have read your previous posts as well and there appears to be a common link – life is not flowing for you as you would like it to be, yeah ?
To keep it short and simple, Energy flows from high level to low level. Make yourself so positive that you null out her negative energy. When she comes under your aura, she will be an angel rather than a “satan”. We have the full power to determine how someone behaves with us or around us and according to my personal experience, there is no bigger “satan” or “angel” other than self.
Besides dealing with your boss in a spiritual manner like I do with “satans” in my work and personal life, there are many professional ways of dealing with this and I will let the rest of the TB community guide you on this.

That is something I deal with, too. My boss is not as bad as yours sounds, but she is still quite unprofessional, always finding faults in others and never patting anyone on their back for a good job done.
I would say that let your actions speak louder than your words. If you start answering her back, this will only stress you out more. And she will start treating you worse. I am not telling you to put up with it, but talking back in these kinds of situations rarely make things better.
I read something in a Stephen Covey book recently (author of ‘The seven habits of highly effective people’). He gives lots of tips on how to deal with workplace situations. One of the stories he shared is about a guy who had a boss similar to yours. The guy decided to be different from everyone else. Instead of constantly complaining with others behind his boss’s back, he started to wonder why his boss was acting like that, and how he can help her out. He went up to her and asked her how he can be of help to her.
His boss was shocked. From that day onwards, she let her guards down and has been a completely different person.
Do you think you could try something like that in your place of work?

Dealing with a difficult boss is NO fun. My direct supervisor was very difficult as well, she had a rather intimidating, easily triggered temper, regularly dealt harsh and unwarranted criticism of people during meetings, and would forward emails from and about people to the entire office if they made a mistake. The list goes on. It made the workplace miserable for me and my colleagues.
What helped for me was Metta meditation, she was my difficult person. About a year ago I took up metta, and after a month or two, my boss completely changed. Of course my behavior towards her shifted and softened once I realized that her rage was her defense against a lot of suffering, but I couldn’t tell you exactly how my behavior changed. Simply being aware of her pain and vulnerability made all of the difference though, and for the past year she has softened towards me as well, and has offered several times to do me favors to help my career along. Once you can see what is causing your boss’s behavior and what’s underneath it, you can begin to feel compassion for her. Perhaps the change won’t be as dramatic or immediate as it was with my boss, but keep at it and at the very least, you will begin to not feel her condescension as personally and it won’t affect you so much.
