    Hi all,

I’ve come across a fascinating book that I think the Tiny Buddha community would find very interesting.

This book talks about high level spiritual things from a scientific perspective. This book is intriguing as it talks about many similar things to what people in mystical mention such as seeing into parallel dimensions and interacting with beings from other worlds etc.

This book is called Zhuan Falun and it is from the Buddha Law School of Cultivation however it is not Buddhism the religion or Daoism the religion, it’s something more profound. It seems to me to be more of a spiritual science as many of the terms and concepts in the book are talked about in a scientific down to earth manner instead of flowery mystical prose which I found very refreshing.

Now here is where it gets interesting, this book talks about the following things:

    ● Other Dimensions – Levels Of Dimensions spanning into the microcosm and also outwards into the macrocosm. It describes in detail how these dimensions exist and how they are linked and interact with our own dimension.

    ● The Soul – It talks about people having a Master soul and a subordinate soul which is hidden from you but is at a more advanced level then you, it states some people have more then one Subordinate soul and some are of not of the same sex as you i.e males having a female subordinate soul etc.

    ● Microcosmic worlds – This concept was very far out but it talks about there being worlds within you, countless worlds. Similar to our world with life , water, animals etc. An analogy is zooming an an atom within one of your cells and realizing at that level of magnification it is just like our solar system. Then zooming into a single particle in that world and finding out it too is a vast world, apparently the level it can go onwards like this is beyond imagination.

    ● Supernatural Abilities – In the book they mention that everyone has them it is just that they have atrophied. It goes into depth about this topic. Some abilities that are mentioned are precognition, retrocognition and remote vision.

    ● The 3rd Eye – Talks about how at the front part of our pineal gland there is a complete structure of an eye there. Modern science calls it a vestigial eye but in the cultivation world they say this eye just naturally exists like that and it can be activated allowing one to pierce through this dimension and see other dimensions. It talks about how there are many levels to this 3rd eye and it goes into great depth about it.

    ● Thoughts – This part was amazing. It talks about how a human brain is just a processing plant. How the real you is actually your soul, it’s like your whole body and brain is just a vehicle and that the true commands are issued by your master soul, but this master soul is very tiny and it can switch positions while inside you and it can also expand and shrink. It can move from your brain to your heart and to other parts of your body and it is ‘he’ who calls the shots.Your brain is just the factory which your master soul sends his cosmic commands to which then create the forms of expression and communication we use such as speech, gestures, etc.

These are just a few things that are covered but there are many many other things which blew my mind when I read it because of how it resonated with some of the mystical experiences people sometimes have, especially the multidimensional nature of reality and how all of them are hidden in our day to day perceptions of the world.

If this sounds interesting to anyone you can grab a copy of the book here:

    Hi T.K!

That book is from the spiritual practice of Falun Gong which was created in 1992 and is based on Buddhism.

    I’m glad you’re enjoying it!

Hi Helcat, yes it’s a great practice. Although it was given to the public in 1992 it’s actual age goes far back in history. There’s a section in the book that talks about this : )

Our practice of Falun Dafa is one of the eighty-four thousand avenues to enlightenment spoken of in Buddhist thought. And while it hasn’t been taught publicly during this cycle of civilization, it was in a previous one, and was then a widespread means of deliverance from this world. In these final times I am making it public again and available to all, so it is something to treasure.

Umm also my initial post went all loopy, lol. I tried to edit it but I couldn’t figure out how. I decided to redo the post here (hopefully it will look more readable!):

    Dear T.K:

“This book is called Zhuan Falun“-

    – Li Hongzhi is a Chinese religious leader who founded a United States based new religious movement called Falum Gong. He started publicly teaching Falum Gong on May 13, 1992.

Li Hongzhi claims that extraterrestrial entities (aliens) developed and introduced to humans the technology that is used today (including airplanes and electronic computers) as a plot to undermine morality. Part of the undermined morality Li talked about is that homosexuality makes a human “unworthy of being human“, and that it is a “filthy, deviant state of mind.” In a 1998 speech in Switzerland he said that, “gods’ first target of annihilation would be homosexuals.”.

In a May 1999 interview with TIME in New York City, Li said: “since the beginning of this century, aliens have begun to invade the human mind and its ideology and culture… The aliens come from other planets…  The key is how they have corrupted mankind… The aliens have introduced modern machinery like computers and airplanes. They started by teaching mankind about modern science, so people…  are controlled. Everyone thinks that scientists invent on their own when in fact their inspiration is manipulated by the aliens. In terms of culture and spirit, they already control man. Mankind cannot live without science… The aliens.. make earthlings have wars and conflicts, and develop weapons using science, which makes mankind more dependent on advanced science and technology. In this way, the aliens will be able to introduce their stuff and make the preparations for replacing human beings.”

Time: “But what is the alien purpose?”,  Li: “The human body is the most perfect in the universe. It is the most perfect form. The aliens want the human body.”

Time: “How do you see the future?” Li: “Future human society is quite terrifying. If aliens are not to replace human beings, society will destroy itself on its own. Industry is creating invisible air pollution. The microparticles in the air harm human beings. The abnormality in the climate today is caused by that [pollution], and it cannot be remedied by humans alone. The drinking water is polluted… I can foresee a future when human limbs become deformed, the body’s joints won’t move and internal organs will become dysfunctional. Modern science hasn’t realized this yet… The only person in the entire world who knows this is myself alone… The ultimate purpose is to replace humans.”

You (T.K) wrote: “It talks about how a human brain is just a processing plant… bit’s like your whole body and brain is just a vehicle and that the true commands are issued by your master soul“- does this mean that the master soul that commands and controls the human brain is… an alien, or that it has been taken over by aliens?

Yes it’s true, Falun Dafa sees homosexuality as sinful behavior, many upright schools believe this to be so however.

In regards to aliens, many governments around the world know that there is an alien presence on Earth already but haven’t fully disclosed it to the public. Many people have had abduction experiences around the world and many have filmed and photographed these beings crafts.

In Falun Dafa they believe the human being is very complex and it is comprised of different elements including the Master soul, the Subordinate soul. These are not aliens or possessing spirits however. The Master soul is the true you and the Subordinate soul is what in western religions they call ‘guardian angel’. It is a being that tries to keep you from doing bad things.

    Dear T.K:

Perhaps you, perhaps another member reported the Li Hongzhi’s quotes that I provided in my reply above as inappropriate, and I agree that what he said about homosexuality is indeed inappropriate. More so, it’s wrong because expressing hate (a strong and passionate dislike)  toward a group of people- for their nationality, race, religion, gender, handicap, sexual orientation, etc.- promotes sickness and violence.

Hate toward homosexuals is called homophobia. UN Free. org/ Fact sheet homophobic and transphobic violence, 2017: “Homophobic and transphobic violence has been reported in all regions of the world. It ranges from aggressive, sustained psychological bullying to physical assault, torture, kidnapping and targeted killings. Sexual violence has also been widely reported, including so-called ‘corrective’ or ‘punitive’ rape, in which men rape women assumed to be lesbian on the pretext of trying to ‘cure’ their victims of homosexuality.

“Violence takes place in a variety of settings: on the street, in public parks, in schools, in workplaces, in private homes, and in prisons and police cells. It may be spontaneous or organized, perpetrated by individual strangers or by extremist groups. A common characteristic of many anti-LGBT hate crimes is their brutality: murder victims, for example, are often found mutilated, severely burnt, castrated, showing signs of sexual assault… Often, torture occurs in places of detention, where LGBT people may be victimized by police officers, prisons guards, or their own peers while State agents turn a blind eye…”.

The Guardian. com/Recorded homophobic hate crimes soared in pandemic, figures show, Dec 2021: “Police chiefs have urged victims of homophobic and transphobic abuse to come forward after figures showed the number of hate crimes soared to their highest monthly level since the beginning of the pandemic, after lockdown restrictions were eased at the beginning of summer. Reports of sexual orientation hate crimes recorded by UK police forces rose from an average of 1,456 a month from January to April this year to 2,211 on average from May to August…”

In your most recent post, you wrote: “Falun Dafa sees homosexuality as sinful behavior, many upright schools believe this to be so however“-

-Let’s say that you believe that a certain homosexual behavior is sinful and that behavior makes you cringe (you really hate it).  Think of this, if you will: not all homosexual people practice that particular behavior that you hate, and there are heterosexual people who practice the same particular behavior (the same sexual act or the same lifestyle) that you hate. So perhaps it is better to hate a certain behavior than it is to hate homosexuals…?

You wrote: “The Master soul is the true you and the Subordinate soul is what in western religions they call ‘guardian angel’. It is a being that tries to keep you from doing bad things.“- Who is your master soul, T.K., what kind of a person is the true you? (if you answer my question, I would be glad to answer this same question in regard to myself, best I can).

Don’t many religions including Christianity, Judaism and Islam condemn homosexuality?

It’s not particularly unusual. Whilst personally, I disagree with that. I feel like it’s inappropriate to attempt to discredit anyones spiritual practices or religion.

    Hi Anita,

In Falun Dafa they do believe homosexuality is sinful behavior but that doesn’t mean homosexual people should be hated.

If someone is doing something that harms them spiritually, isn’t it compassionate to point this out to them so they won’t be harmed? In Falun Dafa they do believe that the soul is immortal but if it acquires too much sinful Karma it will eventually enter hell.

Actually Master Li Hongzhi (the person who bought out Falun Dafa to the secular world) was asked about homosexuality at the German Buddha Law lecture in Frankfurt:

Student: Can homosexuals who don’t give up their behavior…

Master: You mean, “Can he cultivate if he doesn’t give up his partner in this behavior?”

I can tell you that I mentioned something yesterday: I said that gods no longer regard people as human. Even though you’re still upholding religions, Jesus no longer looks after you. He didn’t acknowledge religion in the first place—he only acknowledged human hearts that could become good again. Why doesn’t he look after people anymore? Because people nowadays can’t be called human. That’s truly how it is. Never in history has society been in as big a mess as today. Yesterday I mentioned things like organized crime, drug addiction, perversion, sexual liberation, promiscuity, incest, and the shift in human values, as well as homosexuality…

Think about it, everyone: Humans are created by gods. A man is given a wife. That was stipulated by gods. People now want to find a partner of the same sex. Gods think that people do that because they no longer have human values. You are wantonly indulging your thoughts. But thoughts such as the ones I just mentioned are not actually you. The mentality that makes you homosexual was driven by postnatally-formed bad things. But you yourself were numbed by them and went along with them and wallowed in the mud.

You need to find yourself again and stop doing those filthy things. Gods view them as filthy. No matter whether a government permits it, the law of your government is not the truth of the universe. That’s because the law of a government is made by humans, and when humans make laws, they have the intention to rule and punish others, or they make laws against their conscience in order to protect things and gain power or votes. So they are not made with good intentions.

I think the fact that this question was asked means that he’s realized this is inappropriate. People nowadays can no longer distinguish between right and wrong, between what they should do and what they shouldn’t. Everyone is sliding down with society’s trends. Human morality is sliding down at a tremendous speed and keeps on deteriorating.

Since everyone is amidst the torrent, they’re unable to distinguish between good and bad. What was done prior to your cultivation is done; let bygones be bygones. As a cultivator you should first of all live as a human being does, nobly and upright. Then, join other cultivators and become a cultivator. And eventually, transcend and become a purer, more noble person—one who reaches divine realms and who is like a god. Gods would never permit a cultivator to do that kind of thing, nor would they permit everyday people to.

You do realize that Li Hongzhi broke his mind after one PUBLIC session with another master right? You’re literally following someone who (from western designation) would be considered insane.

I just need to highlight that element as you quote his beliefs on homosexuality and other “things”.

You sure you want to listen to someone who is clinically insane?

And to be clear I am not even trying to make light of mental health conditions. He’s nuts from one public meditation session. What draws you to someone like this?

Mickelop, where did you read that? Do you have a source?

The whole world supports Falun Dafa apart from the Chinese Communist Government:

By April 2001, Li Hongzhi had received over 340 awards and proclamations from Australia, Canada, China (before crackdown), Japan, Russia, and the U.S. in recognition of the contributions to people’s spiritual and physical health, and to freedom of belief in the world. These include certificates of recognition from several governmental bodies in the United States—including Honorary Citizenship awarded by The State of Georgia and city of Atlanta. On 14 March 2001, The Freedom House bestowed Li Hongzhi and Falun Gong with an International Religious Freedom Award for the advancement of religious and spiritual freedom at a ceremony in the United States Senate. He was nominated for the 2001 Sakharov Prize by over 25 members of European Parliament, was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2000 and 2001,  and in 2013 was ranked by Foreign Policy Magazine as one of the 500 most powerful people in the world.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Li_Hongzhi#Life_abroad

Also Falun Dafa has won awards the world over for it’s healing and rejuvinating effects on people both physically and spiritually:

Since its public introduction in May 1992, Falun Dafa has attracted over 100 million practitioners worldwide in just fourteen years. Falun Dafa cultivation emphasizes that one should conduct oneself according to the principle of “Truth-Compassion-Tolerance”. Regardless of gender and age, regardless of nationality and race, every practitioner who persistently cultivates his/her heart and practices the exercises has benefited tremendously. Constant diligent cultivation has brought significant changes to many practitioners in both physical conditions and moral values. At the same time, Falun Dafa is gaining worldwide understanding and appreciation, especially in Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America.

The source? The person who attempted to teach the looney tunes Li Hongzhi in ’89.

Falun Gong didn’t fall from the sky because he was anointed (well maybe anointed a crazy hat I suppose). He was taught in one public lesson one relatively straightforward meditation and Li Hongzhi lost his mind. Falun Dafa came soon after with copious western support thereafter.

I think generally anyone who has been around Chinese cultivations across quanzhen knows this.

Sorry if you don’t and you’re following a crazy person.
