So far, I’ve learned that happiness is a choice and that certain things are often only in our mind. This has helped liberating myself from negative thoughts that I’ve got no control over. For example, I’m no longer bothered that much if someone dislikes me for no reason as it says more about them than it does about me.
But what if you have to deal with someone on a daily basis and the person’s bias has real life consequences? What do you do then? For example, a client / boss has a personal bias against you, so much so that it prevents you from going up the corporate ladder.
How do you decide when to make peace or draw the line and fight back?
