    Dear Brav3:

An excellent read, a terrific reminder of a few truths that can ease our suffering. Thank you!

Question: what’s in Scandinavia for Brav3?

    Hi Anita,

I’ve always wanted to see Europe, in particular Scandinavia. I don’t know anyone, I used to, but not anymore. I want to discover world and learn about life. Scandinavia is just a start. I am thrilled as well as nervous.

    Dear Brav3:

Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark- these are all the Scandinavian countries, I believe. Cold and snowy- I was in Norway in November myself, years ago, and took a fairy from there to Denmark. Is it an impulsive trip? Plan and prepare the best you can. Winter is not the tourist season in Scandinavia. Greece and Italy, Spain have a warmer weather in the winter. Scandinavia would be excellent in the summer.

    Anita,

No its not impulsive trip. I have been thinking and preparing for it. Yes, the whole reason is to see snow and play with huskies. I am planning to come down South and stay in Germany for some time.

    Dear Brav3:

You will have lots of snow to play with. Switzerland, don’t forget to visit there as well. France, Netherlands… oh, I get excited thinking about these places. I was born in a hot and humid country so northern and western Europe, for their climate, the woods, green/ snow, the grey skies were always fascinating to me. I still don’t like the hot sun and the beach. I like what is opposite to where I lived. what an adventure!

    Hi Brav3,

All of what you said is absolutely true, and that’s what we can do in times of problems.
Who else could we learn about Presence other than the core teachings of Eckhart Tolle, who says….

    When in trouble,
    – see if it is possible to remove yourself from the situation
    – if not see if there is something that you can do to change the situation
    – or else accept it (surrender to it) by becoming fully present to it
    All else is madness.

Take care and have a wonderful trip.

    Regards,
    VJ

Scandinavia is mostly civilized 🙂 IIRC, it has some of the top rankings for “best places to live.” Just expensive to live there…
