Then for now I’ll work on making my house more serene, since that’s what I’ve got the most work into already:)

    Hi Colby,

You had mentioned liking animals, and your car. Have you thought about volunteering with animals at a Zoo or Animal shelter? Sometimes I volunteer for an organization that rescues animals from abusive and negectful environments, and then there are times I just volunteer to play and hold the cats at our local SPCA, no kill animal shelter.

I tried volunteering at our local humane society for awhile, but it is not a no-kill shelter, so the experience ended up being more depressing than gratifying.  As far as I know, that’s about all the options there are for volunteer services here.

The hardest part of recovery is the traumatic experience. Hope you’ve been able to overcome someday.

Recovery has been slow for me, but I am starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel.  Like I mentioned earlier, I am starting to make lifestyle changes, possibly a new awakening.  I have now ditched sodas for things like chamomile and lavender, and green teas.  On top of that, I haven’t had caffeine in 10 months.
