your photo is stunning. The way you have capture the single drop of dew is fantastic.
December 11, 2013 at 3:59 pm #46607AnonymousInactiveThank you for putting this forum up! I have not been creative for about 2 years and with my recent bouts of stress, I needed an outlet. I just decided to buy a camera for my trip to Vietnam in two weeks and I’m so glad I found this thread which affirms how great photography and creativity is for the soul!
Does it matter if I don’t buy a really fancy camera? Will it still get me reasonably beautiful photos?
Thanks so much guys and good luck with your photography!

December 15, 2013 at 1:26 pm #46799Samantha S.ParticipantWhat about artistic work, such as drawings?
December 17, 2013 at 7:28 am #46904JPecoraParticipantThis is my first post on the forums :)!
Artistic photography is my life. It’s so awesome to see other people who share in the passion, and understand the valuable lessons we can learn through the lens.
For me photography is a way to help people stop and realize that there is beauty in every person, every place, every moment…December 18, 2013 at 11:57 am #46958DeeParticipantI know this is way late 😀 but I adore photography, started with film photography in the 80’s and have long progressed to digital of course. I do have a flickr site and a website where I share my photos, but haven’t been really active.
December 18, 2013 at 12:58 pm #46962Mark SanduskyParticipantHi. I’ve really liked a lot of the photos I’ve seen on this thread! So, I figured it could be fun to throw my site out there amongst you talented folks to hear your feedback.
A Quick about me:
I meditate daily and live in an artist collective in San Francisco. A lot of what I write about is very “zen” related. Lately, I’ve focused a lot of my attention on the mind cycles that take place during the creative process and the feelings that arise when you chase your goals. Please feel free to check out my site – there are songs, short films, videos and photos. I really hope you enjoy.

The weather was a little unforgiving, but it wasn’t raining, it was very cold and very, very windy, almost impossible to photograph, but I couldn’t pass up this most amazing sunset and had to give it a try, I am very happy with it considering the circumstances under which this image was photographed 😀
I don’t know how to post it by inserting so I am just going to link it?

Photography is a little spiritual practice for me. My camera helps me see things up really really close and constantly reaffirms to me what a miraculous world we live in! I don’t have much of a clue how to work my camera and many of my photos are a complete surprise to me. I never expect them to be so beautiful! In a way I see my photos as little love notes from the universe.Your work is amazing, i love it!!!! Im a fan of photography too 😀
