I think that most people do not experience the perfect balance between happy and sad, between high and low. When the brain experiences too-sad, it compensates by bringing about a too-happy experience, over-releasing the feel-good chemicals.
You are going through a tough time but if you panic, or continue to panic, it will get worse. As it is, it is not as bad as it seems to you. You are in a crisis, but not an irreversible one, you can get better. And you will, if you don’t panic, if you don’t jump to conclusions. Got to relax best you can, then think rationally, take little steps that make steps and move forward.
