I can relate. I have found that I make “friends” easily, people always say they like me (or if we’re drinking sometimes it’s “You are so amazing/awesome/etc!! haha) but the thing is, no one in my life makes the effort to keep in contact. If I’m not texting or calling or setting up plans, weeks or months will lapse with nothing. This isn’t with one or two people but pretty much every one I know. I have resolved to be happy with this situation, but it would be nice to have someone reach out to me once in a while.

I’m also in my thirties and you’re right, it does seem to get harder making connections as we get older. Best wishes 🙂
