    I’m about to go out to a home bible group.
    It’s not me. It’s not the kind of thing I’d ever normally choose to do.
    But it’s new. How do I know it’s not me if ice never done it before.

    Anyone else fancy trying something completely different today? Just to see what’s you or not? It could even be walking down a new street or trying to cook a recipe or singing on the bike.

    Any takers?

    And, how did it go with the Bible group?

    I had a massage today. Perhaps sounds a little bit lame, and was not completely new, i had one or 2 before, but it’s not something that i’d usually do. And this massage therapist was so nice and gentle, took the time to first talk about what’s wrong, and during the massage we had a little chat and i could express easily to her one of the things i’m struggling with in my life right now, and her reply were the kind of words of encouragement that i needed to hear.

    So this is also not me, self-nurturing and allowing people to treat me gently and carefully. And i will go back (as long as there is money for it… )

    Nice initiative, it is good for us to do different things more often 🙂

    Sann, it absolutely counts. It absolutely counts because it took you out of yourself for a bit and get some spiritual healing in the mix. I’ve never had a massage. Nor want to. What you going yo pick next?

    Anita yiu are free to pick anything on this actual known earth to do. There’s no pressure. It could be I’m going to walk on this side of the road to work today . You don’t even have to enjoy it. It could completely rubbish and you gated it, that’s ok too. Free yourself. I mind I’m always saying…what if…. shall we just see?

    Hee and bible group was sweet. A bit cringeworthy for me but that says more about me than them. Nice people. Just 4 of us. Hee. One was getting frustrated I wasn’t seeing alL these great interpretations in the story we read.

    I was like…well.Um. .. nice story. That’s all this is to me. I knew it would be like that. I knew I’d be thd idiot of the group in terms of the bible… feel the fear and do it anyway. (Can’t sit in the car) so I knew it would be me that couldn’t see any of it. But so what.

    How can you say you believe if you cant see this and that in this story…
    Ha ha because that’s all it is and I’m absolutely not sorry that this passage doesn’t speak to me. Win some lose some. Others do, this one didn’t. My God tells me what I need to know in the trees. The bible is personal interpretations and your needs are to get something out if every line. My needs aren’t but I’m happy to read and see what sticks.

    It was fun.

    They spent time trying to prove the story (lazarus risen from the dead) was true. I asked why is it so important for you to make me believe it’s factually true?
    To verify what the bible says.
    I already believe in God so he doesn’t mind what I do and don’t believe in from the book, why should you?

    I like coking but I’m not necessarily going to study the history of the oven to prove it.

    Dear Pomplemous:

    I have a lot to say about god, gods, bible etc. But this is not the place (the pain of the abortion topic still lingers and taught me something after all…). In regards to Something New, I will keep it in mind and when something new to do does come to my mind I will resurrect your thread here and post (I used “resurrect” on purpose, ha ha)

    Have fun, hopefully you gain something from the experience.

    I should try something different today, but I don’t know what. I decided yesterday to start pacing the hallway at work when no one’s around but I think that’s madness not fun lol.
