    Dear Clover:

Of the two choices I say continue your bachelors because it will help you to move away faster. If I found myself back in time, I would move away as fast as  possible. The  only reason I would not move away would be if it was likely that I will die if I  moved (hunger, disease, violence). So of the  two choices, definitely the one that will help you move away  faster.

And then,  if I may add, don’t make  my  mistake and go back.. or let them follow you where it is you will be moving to!

Thank you for the advise Anita. And yes, I will learn from your mistake and not get back to them. I actually decided that from a long time ago, because they being in my life will only create problems for me. Also, I found a few interdisciplinary courses which could accept me. Trying for them. Continuing my major would be very stressful as I don’t have any passion for it. The field itself demands high amout of research abilities and other professional qualities which I don’t possess. It will make me miserable just as my previous job. It would be like getting into another abusive relationship with my career. I can’t go through all that pain again, and if at all I fail to get a job, I would be forced back to my country and will face a lot of losses financially. And this time, I would not have my parents house to take shelter in. So I’m just trying to do the best I can.

    Dear  Clover:

Reads like continuing your major is not a good idea, you feel very  strongly against it. Then the other option may be better … or a third  or fourth option, keep your mind open to options, be as creative as you can in looking for options, maybe  even creating an option that is not visible to you now.

And please post anytime you’d  like, if you would. I will be glad to read from you and reply every time you post.

I feel that there is atleast someone who can truly understand me and my feelings. I am always filled with gratitude whenever I see your posts. I would be glad to share more of my story, even if it is a small achievement which helps me grow more happier. Thankyou for all your support! 🙂
