It happened to me again.
I met a girl, I fell in love right away, as always. The first five months were wonderful, but then, as always, she fell out of love with me.
There was no one else involved to take her affection, there were no infidelities, and there was no breach of trust. It just happened this way.
Is it sad that I am used to heart break? That its happened to me so many times that I know what to expect and what I have to do to get over it?
Repressing feelings is the worst possible way to deal with what is happening to me. The best choice is to accept and recognize that I am mourning because this is what happens when ones hopes are taken from them.
Am I jaded because I have been here so many times that I know I’ll get better?
Ignorance is not bliss. Quite the opposite. If a person is ignorant to what happens after love is lost they will not understand what is happening to them and why. And if that feeling is left unattended too for long enough, they may start to feel that they deserve to feel the impending misery.
I do not deserve to feel misery, but I have to. I have to in order to get better.
Am I the only one who feels this way? That maybe it’s the other person who has issues and I am just fine? I grew out of the phase where I felt there was something fundamentally wrong with me ages ago. I am 32, well educated, fairly attractive(I never have a hard time find someone to date), stable, in my prime, and I’ve got a lot going for me.
I do not deserve to feel this misery, but feel it I shall, and prevail I will.

Sorry to hear about your sadness.
Is there any chance, if this is happening to you a lot, that you are picking the wrong partners? Do you think there might be some truth in that?

Many times we think that if we love someone, they should love us back. When the truth is… We should fall in love with ourselves so we’re not seeking love from another to begin with. Perhaps this is universes way of teaching you that you need to go inside to seek the answers. Perhaps Universe is working with you and taking people away who do not deserve you.. that’s not to say that they are “bad” people. They are simply not on the path that you are.
We’re all perfect beings, we’re created with a purpose… So I am sure there is nothing “wrong” with you. Just keep sending out love and compassion out to the Universe and the same will be returned to you in millions. Release all expectations and trust that Universe will send you someone who will love you the way you need to.
Namaste

That can be very daunting to people around you, especially your intimate partners. I would suggest to start learning to let go of “hopes” and “expectations” and focus on your dreams. Dreams are what guides us, but they are different from expectations because we realize that they do not represent a particular destination, only a path, and, in the end, only the universe can really know where you will end up on that journey.
