    Dear Mr. Ritz:

Maybe it’s just inexperience?“- yes, in regard to the latest, basement project, being inexperience takes away from confidence. But in regard to doubting your choices, such as whether you should or shouldn’t have gotten a dog: do you often or regularly doubt your choices after the fact?

Of course I do. Lots of buyers remorse on this house for example.

    Dear Mr. Ritz:

Chronic Regret is a painful way to live, meaning: you choose something then double guess yourself and regret, choose something else and regret again. I used to regret a lot, double and triple guessing myself and suffering a lot this way. It’s a mental-emotional habit born in a childhood where a parent repeatedly tells you that what you choose is wrong (that’s all it takes).

    Thanks, same to you.
We got hit with a blizzard and all Christmas plans are off, but we are sitting here watching movies and cooking.

    Dear Mr. Ritz:

Thank you! The weather here is not pretty either, but the frozen old snow is currently melting, so that’s a good thing… Sitting watching movies, fed and warm isn’t that bad, is it.. ? I hope that 2024 is a better year for you, hoping that (looking at the title of your thread), hoping that you will get what you truly need (if not what you want).

I skipped a year, I hope 2023 is a better year (and later, 2024 as well)
