I feel I create problems for myself in order to always have something to fix. Maybe it’s because I’m scared of not having a goal. What happens when everything is done?
Does anyone else feel like this? Can anyone offer me any insight or advice?

It’s a process) is by setting little goals, such as completing my To Do list or making a new friend, reading a good book. Those give me something to strive toward one baby step at a time. By doing those, you can find larger goals to work toward as well, such as creating a happy home for you and your family, getting an education or whatever fits in your life. Having something little and positive to do will help you feel happier with yourself for accomplishing something you set for yourself to do. It isn’t easy but it helps keep the insecurities and such at bay.
Hope this helps you!

You say you still have problems. What sort of problems? Maybe I could help?
Thanks for responding!
January 22, 2014 at 12:24 pm #49542KyraParticipantI’m in college so most of the problems I have are with time management and essentially freaking out over what I have to do, how much I have to do and the amount of time I have to do it. It stresses me out like crazy.
I’m glad it’s working for you! And that you thought of it for yourself, that always feels really good 🙂
February 3, 2014 at 1:53 pm #50223DaisyParticipantOh, yeah. I have that, too! But what helps me is, is it worth stressing out over? Why is it so important to ME? That usually gives me motivation.
Over the past few days though, I’ve started to have this horrible thought that what if everything ends up being perfect and there’s no problems to fix. I guess that’s not something I should be scared of as it’s never gonna happen and if there’s no problems then I’m sure I could FIND something that pleases me. Like you said, I need goals. But still yeah, scary thought….

I have not discovered as much as you have but, may be, I will be on the same track (from what I can feel from my intution).
I think it is escapism, avoidence of reality, the world or life due to fear. It may be due to personality trait or some bad experience in life. It is SUPREME negativity or negativity at its BEST!! In my case, it has taken REALLY UGLY, HORRIFIC turn. In my case, it has become SELF-SABOTAGE of the WORST kind!!
I think such persons should remove from their system, psyche, awareness – the DEEP-ROOTED, DEEP-SEATED “belief” that some or the other problem is BOUND to come. They are locked, stuck, programmed into it. It is due to long and severe years of negativity. They become accustomed, habitutated to living in darkness that such things happen. Such people are unable to believe, accept anything good or miracle. They “JUMP” from problem to problem just to escape harsh reality or their weakness (in case of personality trait). They CANNOT IMAGINE, ACCEPT a life without problems (sort of).
NOTE: I AM NO EXPERT.
