“He takes hours to respond to my text. Sometimes, he won’t even respond for the whole day until nighttime or the following evening (like two days). Is this normal? When he reply, he doesn’t apologize and acts like nothing is wrong”- maybe he hates texting, which is abnormal when it comes to younger people. Not a bad kind of abnormal, (can be a good kind of abnormal as in not driving and texting!)

Did you bring the topic up to him, so to find out what goes through his mind in regard to texting?

You are welcome. I think that it is a good idea to ask him.

I suggest that when asking him (if you do), you don’t express to him at the same time that you are hurt by him not responding to your texts earlier than he does, or that he is wrong and guilty. Instead ask neutrally and curiously, so that you can have information you didn’t have before.

The more information you have- the less confused you will be, and the less complex things will seem, and you will not have to make assumptions which may or may not be true.

If you ask him, let me know what he says, or otherwise post again anytime.
