Hello Lucas,
I do understand your feeling. I have felt depressed most of my life and I do “enjoy” this feeling. It’s something I know… kind of comforting in a way… but I am working very hard to break this cycle since it is not healthy and I want to be happy most of the time at one point in my life. Since you are here, I feel that is your goal too. 🙂
The first thing you need to know is that you are not alone. A lot of people are in unhealthy patterns. You are not a bad person because of that. You’re just human. The good news is that you are aware of it and you want to change things.
Are you in therapy? If not, I would suggest you to seek the help of a professional to break the pattern. Are there free services in your city/country for this? If so, there is usually a long waiting time but still worth a try, don’t you think?
Why would you think you do not deserve happiness? I understand that so many people suffer on Earth but making you feel bad does not help them. You could take some time to help the people in need and do some volunteering? That’s just a thought 🙂 I did for some time and it did help a bit.
I wish you the best of luck Lucas. Let us know if you feel better this week!
Have a good one.
Stephie

Thank you for your replies. I do spend a lot of time in my basement appartment since I don’t have a job right now (it’s been a month). I do stress a little more about money and everything so maybe it trigger anxiety a lot. I did see a doctor for anxiety 2 or 3 years ago. He gave me anti-depressants to help and when I wanted to renew my subscription he said that these pills are very addictive and I should try other stuff (meditation, relaxation, etc) before renewing my subscription. I was actually very happy that this doctor was really caring for me and did not just want to sell me pills. I did not have any drugs to help my anxiety since then.Anyway, maybe it’s time for me to get out more and try harder to find a new job! I try to exercise everyday too because it’s good to help with depresion and anxiety.
Karlo, I don’t know how I can face my fear but I guess it’s just to continue living in my appartment no matter what. To tell myself that no rats is going to come out or whatever. What do you think? Thank you for sharing your fear sith me. I was not thinking it was silly so it helped me to stop judging myself that much.
Thank you guys for not judging me. As for the electronagnectic radiation, my cellphone have a good reception here 🙂 (all bars) so it’s a good sign right?
Thank you again.

Matt,

I definitly feel good in nature… just walking in nature and relax. I will do that more often and I will try to meditate every day. Just 15 minutes or more if I feel like it.Thank you for your help. I feel better now because I’m not stress out to change my life completly in a month!
Have a nice day or evening 😉

thank you for your answers. You really seem to care about people on this forum. I am full of gratitude for your kind words. I think I accepted that I have to change and that this change is good but I just don’t know where to go now. I don’t know what I like in life. How can I know what I like? I read so many books about this lately and I am trying so hard to find what I like and how can I put this into a career…
I know Matt that you said I sould’nt try to make an epic change in my life right now. One step at a time. But I have to take that first step and I am scare because I don’t know what it is.
Thank you,
Steph
