Hello David, While writing we can make mistakes. If you understand that “He did not went” is wrong English, I am sure you made a mistake by oversight in using “did” in your writeup. I feel that use of wrong grammar is like an unnecessary speed breaker on a smooth road. (Forgive me if you find some mistakes in my write up too!)
