This post/responses really helped me. I’m in an almost identical situation and cut off all contact with my ex fiancé. Sometimes you just have to let go and push forward. In the meantime take what you’ve learned from the situation and use it to become a better person. It’s funny how we know what we need to do but are hesitant to follow through with it. We usually end up having to confront the issue in the worst way, much worse than if he had listened to our inner voice in the first place. Better is coming 🙂
