    On behalf of animalistic abe I’d love a margarita pizza, a good one though, right now

    a “second” isn’t as important as a minute
    otherwise it would be called a “first”
    and a minute isn’t as big as an hour
    it’s tiny
    it’s mynoot

    I try to live in the now
    but it passes too quickly
    my brain can’t keep up with time
    and it’s getting slower every year

    ever noticed this poem doesn’t rhyme?
    nor make much sense?
    I don’t like it much
    but I can’t be bothered editing.

    solve a puzzle like Sudoku
    eat some wafer biscuits/carrot cake/lamington with coffee
    watch a good movie (I want to see the new stallone Rocky movie. I hear it is good)
    have a beer
    eat some rice pudding
    drink my favourite orange juice
    play some mahjong
    daydream about how confident/successful I am that I have to knock back million dollar offers for an exclusive interview

    I’ll admit a prejudice of mine. I can’t fathom atheism. Anita please don’t take offence here. But I find atheism such a nihilistic, negative philosophy. It’s like “I believe in non-belief”. Similar to those evidence-based sceptics who will only trust what they see. How unimaginative! Religion is a belief in something not right in front of us. Something we can’t prove scientifically. We have to go beyond our limited rationialist left-brain thinking. We have to admit we don’t know it all. We need to trust there is a higher power that does know it all and seek its help in living this life.
    there endeth the lesson. 🙂
    just hope this thread doesn’t divide us, not my intention.

    yeah what a list anita!
    some interesting ones there including ww11 POW camp. I sometimes imagine what it would be like to be captured by ISIS. How easy it would be to get information from me. 🙂 I read recently about tortures suffered in the Spanish inquisition. Just horrific what some people have endured. What I’m saying, is that such suffering puts my current issues into perspective. My life has been blessed for sure.

    What am I tolerating in my relationship?

    -her tardiness in regard to meal preparation
    -house not being cleaned to the desired standard daily
    -her being allowed to visit friends once a week
    -her speaking out of turn
    -not wearing the dress that I choose her to wear, when we go out together

    Is that enough?

    anita is not always right.your point might be valid, I don’t know.I haven’t read it. I think the bigger issue here is you being more focussed on fault-finding in anita than doing what she is doing; trying to help others in need. I support anita because I want to encourage anyone who is trying to do something positive. Without her, this forum would collapse, in my opinion. I don’t want to see that happen because she is genuinely making a difference to people’s lives.
