    re euthanasia
    a Christian might say we have an obligation to see life to the end, even if the end is physically and mentally unbearable. The question will be , how bad does it have to be before we choose euthanasia?
    I’m no fan of pain endurance. No prizes for how tough you are. I’m hoping I have that option, but of course I’m aware of not abusing such a prililege.

    Big news here is two aussie surfers killed in mexico. Don’t think I’ll be visiting that country in the immediate future.

    Just keep going. Have determination. Look to support others and magically you will find yourself supported. (this has been my experience anyway). Life takes courage and endurance. Are you up for the challenge?

    re meeting people like that old frail lady in your story:
    I once travelled to Nepal and did some hiking. It was an organised trek so Sherpas were actually carrying all the tourists’ belongings on their packs. We tourists just carried our cameras up the mountains. I was sweating and struggling and feeling sorry for myself but these guys found time to smile and joke, no self-pity whatsoever. That was a wake-up call for me too.

    I’m curious to know whether my sense of humour is more warped than yours seaisland.
    MY favourite thing about me is I never f***ing swear or use f***ing bad language on internet forums. I’m rather f***ing proud of that!

    so at least you don’t have insulin injections seaisland , which must be a real bummer for diabetics.
    sleep walking sounds dangerous too..
    this forum is not what I’d rate as fun. guess people aren’t looking for it, just get their needs met and scurry off!

    I can imagine such an event can really poison a marriage/relationship. Any negative becomes a trigger/a reminder of the infidelity. Unless there is some way you can overcome this, you might do well to find another partner. Just another perspective on this.

    I care what happens to you, when I’m not with you. I’d hate to see you suffer. I hope you find peace and contentment in your life. I’ll be available should you need me in an emergency. You are my number one priority. (well besides myself)
