I would add that lack of courage, determination and persistence have been my weak points at various times over the years. In this regard then, I feel a lack of self-love, self-acceptance.

I’ve got testimonials from people like Mao Tse Tung, Hitler and Stalin who swear by me.
    Mao”
Jack changed my life. he made me accept myself for being a ruthless control freak using Communism as a smoke screen. I blame my parents and he helped me blame them. Can’t recommend Jack enough,”

    who
No problem. I strive for self-honesty. But you know what. Anyone who says they are totally honest is a liar.
People love BS and they encourage BS from us so we give it to them. Full honesty can be too depressing and brutal. Noone wants to hear it really, do they?

    Re theme of control:

I notice suburban gardens, all nicely trimmed and manicured, (except ours :)). People really go to extraordinary lengths to make their front yard look maintained.
    Competitive, uptight.
I prefer overflowing natural gardens with plants and trees native to our area. But many people in the neighbourhood try to recreate little Britain . problem is we don’t have enough rainfall for some of their trees/plants. Some of the trees look like those helmets of guards at Buckingham Palace.

yeah I usually do my chores from 5.00am, clean the house top to bottom, dog walk, 20 mile run, 5 km swim,50 km cycle, 30 minutes weights, 30 minutes stretching, 30 minutes meditation. Power breakfast including whey and a nutraninjamasterblasta juice, then I’m ready to sit down check my emails, and see what’s cooking on Tiny Buddha.

Reminds me of a teacher I had in the 4th grade. To get us quiet he would sit down in his chair and wait for us to gradually stop making noise. Then he would say “I want you to listen. Can you hear this pin drop?” Of course we all believed that a pin could make any noise when hitting the timber floor. And that he actually had a pin in his hand. I couldn’t see from the back.
So, can you hear a pin drop? 🙂
