Hi Nancy! 😉 That’s sort of what i thought too hahaha money and status… I really hope i can get good superior and colleagues, I think it’s very important when comes to job satisfaction right.
SoimjayParticipantThanks Missus, I like your last sentences as well! ‘By focusing on things around work, you might come across professional opportunities you never thought possible. Chin up, it’ll work out. Just give it time.’
I’m really hoping that I can find my purpose along my career path one day. Just go with the flow and see what happen next right? As we never know what would happen in the future and life is full of possibilities 😉
However, my family is kind of rushing me to get a good job by asking me to contact people they know, this and that. I just finish my final exam 2 weeks ago and had submitted a few job application. I just feel like i still need time to figure things out and want to take thing one step at a time, doesn’t like to rush thing but they think that I don’t cherish opportunity. You said that i should do something out of my comfort zone (which is something my family is asking me to do) but I don’t feel emotionally ready to do that yet as I feel like there’s too much in my head and a little miserable. I am going to a vacation in July. Maybe after my vacation I will feel more ready after clearing my mind by then. Will that be too late or indicating that I don’t cherish opportunities? I have a more lay back and go with the flow kind of personality. Don’t know if I should try change it.
SoimjayParticipantThanks Anita, I like your last sentence very much 🙂
‘Now think about getting a job. Work for a while, see how it feels. Evaluate later, figure things out more… later.’
I will remind myself of this as I continue to search for my job.
