    Hi Kate,

Please don’t take this the wrong way but I have to agree with Buddha that what you did is considered emotional cheating. To go from being just friends to a proposal prior to you breaking up with your ex bf is definitely cheating. He wouldn’t have proposed to you if he didn’t sense that you were romantically interested in him. Now even if you waited to breakup with your ex bf before accepting the proposal it’s still cheating. Also, I find it very unusual for a guy to make a proposal without any sort of intimacy.

Whatever it is, I hope you’re happy with your decision and wish you guys the best

    😀

    Hi Peace,

No matter how romantic the guy is to you, if he’s financially irresponsible then your relationship with him will not work. It only works if he’s willing to make changes for the better. As time passes you’ll grow tired of his lack of responsibilities, and the frustration will outweigh whatever romantic gestures that he’s done for you. Based on your story it seems to me that he’s still immature. A lot of false promises. Move on if he’s unwilling to be more financially responsible.

    Hi Murtaza,

So many replies here that I couldn’t really go through all of them. This is just my advice in response to your title. We’ve all experienced the lowest low, if not then we will experience it at some point. Now, suicide may feel like an easy way out but trust me, regardless of how bad the situation you might be in right now, your life is more precious than anything. You only have one life to live so make the best out of it.
