I figure it’s challenging enough to break the 9-5 cycle, so you may as well try not to worry too much about it. Less time worrying equals more time following your dreams. 🙂

Or volunteer at a local radio station? Interview bands, or do music therapy with children or seniors? The possibilities really are endless. The main thing is to share what you love, and in the process, you will gain much enjoyment, and make a positive impact on others. Try to make friends with others who are doing similar things you envision for yourself, or that you can collaborate with. Just some thoughts! 🙂
The one thing that I love like crazy and that expresses who I am the most is fine art and music. Ok, that’s two things, but picking one doesn’t feel right.

By age 19, I had experienced more than my share of grief for my lifetime. This has prepared me for the inevitable future grief. I know what to expect. The unexpected. And to cherish your own life and those you love while we are still together on earth. Since I went through so much grieving so early. I feel that if life throws me a curveball, I can get through it just fine.

Full-time is nice for the extra cash to help catch-up on bills, but it can be soul-sucking for a creative person.
April 7, 2013 at 12:43 am #31897GardeniaParticipantI often feel like I waste a lot of my life at my job. It is a job that is somewhat enjoyable. It serves a purpose, not my life’s purpose, but the next best thing, I guess. If I look at it in a more positive light, I am very thankful I have my job, and can use it as a tool to move forward in my life. This job can help me dedicate more and more time to my true passions. Even with it’s not so enjoyable aspects, I chose this job. It feels purposeful, only because I am aware that it was my choice. I agree with the above saying, “Love your job and you will never work another day in your life.”
