Ann, sorry you are in such a difficult situation. If you really want to be in a healthy relationship, you should probably find someone who is in the same place as you, emotionally, psychologically, etc.
I do think people are assuming he is GUILTY just because he was accused of something. Plenty of people are falsely accused and even spend years in prison, despite being innocent.
